    Morning all,

Smoky haven't read yesterday's thread yet but it sounds as though you have lots of support from very caring people. ((hugs))
Pen-Pin I know you have left already but if by some chance you read this, good luck and ((hugs)). You'll be back home before you know it.
mrs mix a teary day is to be expected - cry when you need to, it helps. (hugs)
mioliere I was out *very* early this morning at Mr T's. I managed to spend £54 and only filled 5 reusable carriers. Did get a couple of things to put away for Christmas and birthdays but not that much. The worrying thing is that I was very carefully considering every single purchase and still managed to spend so much.
Pink and HJ have a lovely time with your family.
jannyannie good luck with the tutorial.
stefjb I agree with the others who have said that you shouldn't let your loyalty to the ASC affect your decision. Save yourself money and let your DD gain some independence. Hope your other DD's results are the ones she wants. ;)
Squiggly when my DS threw a strop about having to do a few jobs around the house and told me "it was my job" to do housework, I couldn't let it pass. I made a list of every single thing I do in the house and pointed out that I also work two jobs and am a school governor so it really wasn't that unreasonable of me to expect some help from him and his DSis. He moans occasionally (well, what teenager wouldn't) but he never suggests that I should do everything. ;) Maybe you should stop doing anything at all for your DD and see if she notices just how much her "unsupportive" mother does for her. good luck.
natzini I have to ask - what is an owl-themed ATC?
Pippad Congratulations to you and your OH on the birthday of your baby son! :T :T :T And well done on being so well-organised beforehand.
pink your back pain sounds very painful. See your GP and ask if he can increase the pain relief.
catowen well done on the extra 2 children. :T
tru ((hugs)) to your poor dd - what a scary experience.

Congratulations to Pippad and family on the birth of your baby boy.

Sending lots of hugs and best wishes to (((Mrs Mix))), (((Penny Pincher))) and (((smoky)))

I've been up and about for a while now. I had an appointment at the beauticians at 9am  (which is v early for me on a Saturday!) and DH had left me a list of things to get for the bbq that we're having tomorrow. Whilst I was in town, I picked up some locally grown asparagus (grown 2 miles away) which we'll have as part of our supper tonight.

DH has gone paintballing with work today. It's an all male environment that he works in, so I can imagine the testosterone that will be oozing all over the paint. I hope that they still all like each other at the end of the day.:D

It's my Race for Life tomorrow, so I picked up some safety pins today to pin my race number on my t-shirt tomorrow. I've also filled a bag of clothes to donate to Cancer Research as they have a "donation station" there. I'm going to be [STRIKE]jogging[/STRIKE]/walking around Burghley park which will be quite a treat! (think Mr Darcy! :D)

    Have a good day all.

Congratulations PippaD!!!! Glad your son is safely here:j :D

(((smokybabe)))) you are doing so well. I'm glad the work situation is looking brighter, and you did so well with LO. He's reacting to his grief in the only way he knows. Hard for all of you.

    (((mrs mix)))) take care.

Good luck PP, you'll be fine!!!:D

Nothing interesting happening chez Churchmouse, so I'll not bore you all to death:o

It's jolly cold here, so it's indoor jobs again for me. Hope you have good days.

    me again, :hello:

My mum phoned when I was typing my last post so I posted it unfinished rather than lose it because it timed out. We have put the world to rights now so all is well. :D

Not much planned today other than grating the three tons of carrot that are lurking in my fridge. Will freeze them in small portions for use in soups, stews, etc. I'm really beginning to get the hang of this "throw nothing away" philosophy.

Need to hoover the whole house and try and reclaim some space in the kitchen. All my worktops are full of clutter all of a sudden.

But first of all, time for :coffee: Bye for now xx

    Morning all

Woke up at 9.45, which I am now feeling terrible about, cos everyone else was up early hehe

Ive already blitzed the kitchen, put a load of washing in, had 3 mugs of tea, watched some Emmerdale, and blitzed the living room!

The plan was to tackle the bedroom.....but the computer was calling me :D

Me and Him are having SERIOUS sit down to sort out the pennies situation aswell, as well as meal planning for the next week!

Hope everyone has better weather than me?! Its cloudy and just darn miserable!!

    Sooz xxxx
