    Morning gang,

Its dull and overcast here, bit chilly too, will have to hang the wash on the airer today. We have my mums dog today and overnight as my mum and dad are off to a party where we used to live in Hampshire, we have also been invited to a party, the secratary at OH work is having a 40th, so we might pop there for a couple of hours.

I am going to do a chicken bacon and advacado salad for tea, I just need to get some crusty bread from Mr T.

Pen Pin I know its to late but good luck to you xx

Smoky thanks for posting, you are doing really well, hugs to you and little ones xx

Kathy good luck on the Wii, I remember years ago, when my DD first got a dance mat, I got my parents round to have a go, I have never laughed so much, my sides ached, seeing my mum with bad back, and dad with knee replacements trying to keep up :rotfl: :rotfl: enjoy

Stefjb, I would take your DD out of after school, its important for her to get some independance, and its not up to you to keep the afterschool afloat, good luck with your other DD xx

Pippad, :T :T congrats on the birth of you little boy, whats his name and can we see a photo :D

Pink and HJ, enjoy your visit xx

Behebee, and jayward, hugs to you both xx

Candygirl and Mrs mix, hard times for you both, stay strong xx

Very overcast here & I think it will start raining soon.
If someone texts PP, please send her my love, I couldn't get online early enough.
Congrats to Pippad on the new baby.
Great news Cat about the LO's.
I read your post from yesterday Smokey, lots of people would have lashed out at your LO even in normal circumstances so you are doing fantastically well, also lots of LO's will trash their rooms & widdle on the floor, that's the joy of having kids, lol.
Whatatwit & Elona, I have explained about excess baggage to Katy, she said she's not taking much home with her! Maybe she's leaving it with friends & family. She knows she cannot leave it here as I'm already advertising for another lodger.
I hope everyone has a good day.
    Hugs Hester
Hugs to Mrs Mix, JackieO, jayward, Candy & anyone else in need

Still suffering from the lurgy, cough started now  Dragged myself to the shops this morning though. Usually get petrol while at Sainsburys (for the points too) 111p per litre for unleaded   it's 110p at Morrisons down the road. Save a 1p a litre or get points that add up at the end of the year? My brain hurts.

Pouring here, was going round son's with hubby while he did the brakes on his car and then helped put a shower screen up but with this lurgy don't want to give it to DIL who is pregnant and little DGD so will stay at home, bake, iron and watch the Cup Final.

Congrats to Pippad on the birth of her new son

Well done to Catowen on getting a couple more little 'uns. A big relief I am sure for your finances

Have a good day everyone - byeeeeeeeee

    Morning.

Congrats to The Pippas, well done and thank goodness you stocked up the freezer.
Catowen, great news about the 2 newbies and I'm pleased your leg is better. Looks likeyou'll have to start wearing stilettoes for health reasons :D
Taplady, at least your son's job should be secure, the Pink
Pound tends to be very strong, certainly where we live.
Smoky, it was good to read your positive post, what a caring family and manager you have. The fact that widow's pension is taxable is really awful, i know that 'old age' pension is also taxable, but at least there are the extra tax age allowances to compensate. Hugs to you and your little ones.
Candygirl, my FIL has diabetes and also advanced Alzheimers, his legs are never still.
Stefejb, is this the DD that has moved in with you due to troubles at her flat  I hope the result is the one she wants. I think you are doing the right thing with DD and the afterschool club. Whilst it is sad to see something fail, if others won't support it, there is only so much you can do.
Tru, how awful for your DD, i bet once she got over the shock, she was furious.
Pink1970, hope the pain eases...love the hair.

Well, I've got a busy day ahead, Miss Twit's boyfriend is visiting next weekend and as we don't have a spare bedroom, I'll have to set him up in the lounge. So, that needs a through clean as at the moment it tends to be a dumping ground for paperwork and all sorts of junk.
Mr Twit and I go away a week on Tuesday, so I think I'd better get the cases down and the travelling golf bags so I can make a bit of a start. The cat needs his boosters next week and I need to confirm the cattery.

I have bought a new hair dye, but it's a bit darker than my usual colour...we are out tonight for a meal with the friends we are holidaying with.....now do I put the colour on today and frighten the life out of them  Answers on a postcard please :D

Anyway, enough Mioliering, I'd better make a start.

    hugs to all :grouphug:

    Love The Twit.

    Good morning:hello:

    (((((Smokey, Mrs Mix, PenPin)))))

    Congratulations Pippad :j:j:T:T

I have a long list of jobs for today, but so far have been stuck on the computer. OH is at work and I find it much easier to be lazy when I'm in on my own. Still I really must get on with stuff after typing this.

My friend who is moving gave me some more freebies in the week, CD towers plus side table which are also good for storage. She also offered us her dining room table and chairs that didn't sell on ebay, but it's slightly too big for us so I had to decline sadly. She's fab. I feel a little sad as she's moving further away, even though we haven't seen so much of each other lately it was still a comfort knowing she was nearby. She's only gone the other side of the Pennines so I guess we just have to make a bit more of an effort.

Hope you all have a good day.

Hello Everyone! Hugs and good wishes to you all!

I eventually had the baby (a son!) on Thursday morning (6.01am!) and he weighed 8lbs exact! It was the same room that I had, had DD in four years earlier which made it all a bit sureal!

I had to stay in for 24hrs as he pooped before he came out (messy baby) and DH couldn't work out how to log in here so sorry I couldn't tell you all!

We are now home and all doing well. The funniest part was DH started to make tea last night so I directed him to one of the meals I have made and frozen (pizza, start off easy!) and he was more amazed at the other 28 meals in there! I think he thought I had been sitting home all day watching TV!

Right I am supposed to be in the shower, and as the water is running DH can probably tell I am out so had better run! Speak to you all later!

PIPPA - Fantastic news and congratulations to you all but especially you! I bet he's gorgeous - please give him a big hug and a kiss from his 'Auntie' Kathy!

With all those meals prepared you deserve a medal! Let's hope your DH is the one who cooks them all for you!
