Im thinking of selling a Playstation 3 and hopefully get £220-£280 for it. How much will Paypal take off me by way of fees? I was looking on the Paypal website to try to work it out but couldn't find anything!

I've been a Fleabayer for a number of years. It started OK and I was fanatical about it. Now every new restriction puts me off even further. Car boot sales are the transparent way forward.

Anyone know if I have to offer Paypal on 2nd Chance offers for listings that started before 3rd of June?

Frankly with ebay nothing is clear cut, however as the original listing pre dated the new rules I can't see why you should have to add paypal to a SCO. In fact, you can't even make changes to the auction terms for the SCO.

Terms of a second chance offer are (and have to be) the same as the original item.

So shall I be all despondent again?

I wish I'd have took a screen shot of it, but can't reopen it now. Someone else must have received this questionnaire, I don't think I'd be the only one.

Paypal fees vary depending on your account but likely to be 20p plus 3.9% of total amount. There are also Ebay fees.

RFW, someone has posted it today on a new thread.

It is very interesting that their surveys are asking about cash on collection whilst at the same time as categorically denying this will happen on the boards. However, the thread I was reading yesterday did mention that a pink on ebay.com mentioned this survey and the cash on collection bit, but the UK pink still says it is not even being considered.. I wonder if the survey originated from ebay.com and that they are considering different rules for the US, which wouldn't be the first time.
