Blimey - no wonder he felt a bit 'tired and emotional' if he drank a whole bottle of whisky -:eek: was it a litre one...:p . Tell him if it does happen again he'll have to buy you TWO bottles......:rotfl: That might make him think twice......although I'd now make sure that any alcoholic substance is locked away somewhere in your bedroom I think.....along with the fuses to the music systems.....

p.s. PasturesNew is being kind - I give him til oooh, next weekend:rolleyes:;)old enough to know better, young enough not to care;)0 -
Between the two of them, 5 bottles of red wine and half a litre of Jamesons! :eek:
To be fair, at least half of that was left over from his housewarming party, so not "mine" as such. At least they didn't touch the Dom Perignon in the fridge
Actually, the way he's acting now, I think he'll be grovelling for a good long while. I've got one up on him now - he owes me big time and knows it. Hmm, how can I take advantage..? He's already suggested implementing a rule of "no music in bedrooms after 10pm". In fact, he overcompensated by saying "shouldn't be music after 8pm".
As usual, thanks for giving me the humourous side! I'm pretty tired myself now, didn't get to sleep until 3:30am in the end (after about 4 episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer).Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
I'd lay down rules right now about music. It's not hard to listen quietly or put headphones on. If they want to disturb the neighbours they need to find other neighbours to disturb.0

Maybe the rent should be £500/month, with cashback for good behaviour.

Oh Badger, I'm sorry it didn't work out, I was so hoping it would. Nevermind, as my best girlfriend and I used to ay to each other, "thank god you get to try another one out
" (I get to say it to her now but I can't shake my one loose to try out another
)
Hmm. Vomit left ANYWHERE except in extreme illness would be THE END for me with any shared living arrangment. EURGH.0 -
