Depends how far up north you are I suppose, Jamtart. If you are in Leeds/Manchester/Liverpool you are really in the south of the north. Saying that I am in the south compared to most of Scotland.

Well I have also been reading this with interest, and couldn't belive the thread was still active!

I'd love it if said Lodger happened upon this thread and joined in. Only then would he realise how much trouble he has caused you. Can you serve an eviction notice on him?! I wonder how long you have to legally leave it before you can freecycle his stuff?!

Shall we see who's most Northerly of Badger Lady?

I'm based near Inverness... although I'm technically even further North right now because I'm at work on the Black Isle... anybody higher up than me out there?! ;)

I can confirm that the internet has not reached up north just yet, I have to send my message via carrier pigeon who flies to watford, conveys the message via clog dance and some nice southerner then inputs it into their computer.
Carrier pigeon protocol http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc1149.html - actually has been demonstrated to work as part of the internet.
After the uprising of the 17th June The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier In that case for the government
    To dissolve the people
    And elect another?

    TODAY'S THE DAY!!!

I picked up my new bed last night (and it's really lovely, from lovely lovely Freecycler people)...

And, whilst out, got the unbelievable text message:
"Hey Badger, coming round tomorrow at 6pm, will drop off keys and cash!"
