Fire Fox, your suggestion is a brilliant one - definitely suits me
Just had an oily bath - my hips have turned purple. That can't be right.Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
Ugh, he just walked in the house
I really don't want to confront him - I'm tired and wearing a dressing gown
Gonna stay here on my bed.

Sorry, but that made me laugh. :rotfl:
Hope you feel better soon.0 -
google passive agressive notes, plenty of ways to deal with lodgers there, all of them ineffective!Debt free 4th April 2007.

QuackersLodger and I have just had a good old natter downstairs (mostly about boyfriends) and mulled over NiceSoFarLodger's misbehaviour (which apparently Quackers slept right through). We're happy to give him a second chance. And tonight he's had a quiet evening and an early night (though he hasn't actually spoken to either of us).
Quackers has also provided me with a heady mix of Ibuprofen and Paracetamol to help me get through the night - nothing's more healing than a good sleep and I want to be on top form for my date tomorrow nightMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

I did as instructed and blundered about a bit to discover that there is an exhibition of such notes showing in London at this place:
Just the kind of hip, happening 'multifunctional' space you'd expect on Hoxton Square, KK Outlet is not just a shop and gallery it's also the offices of KesslsKramer, a communications agency whose clients include Diesel, Absolut and MTV Japan. Yen Yen Ho, former head of account management at BBH China, and Erik Kessels, co-founder and creative director of KesselsKramer in Amsterdam and London are the brains behind the publishing and advertising company which fashionably fuses art, work and design. Past exhibitions have included 'Loving Your Pictures', an overview of photography from Centraal Museum Utrecht, '10 years of KesselsKramer' seen at the Rotterdam Museum of Contemporary Art and various shows from KesselsKramer's own brand 'do'.
So I started flicking through the images of some of their examples.
Some warning message flashed up from Firefox saying it had blocked an attempt to download something dynamic on my PC and did I want to override the blockage.
I chose NOT to override.
BUT after that everything I tried to type read from right to left.
I think this was intended as a joke, rather than something truly evil, but you have been denraw !.0 -
harryhound, think you ended up somewhere other than I meant!
passiveaggressivenotes.com is a simple notes sporking site that has never been evil to me! with many examples of people leaving "passive aggressive notes" for housemates. To some people's humour and not others but not malicious software wise!Debt free 4th April 2007.

Hi Emmzi,
I Googled passive aggressive notes complete with the spaces and got the usual zillion hits.:D
I don't think I am "infected" as everything seems to be back to normal, following a virus scan and a malware tidy up.
I once shared a house that split into two factions; it got so bad that there were two fridges with cypher locks on them.
I've found it is best to have a hard nosed bean counter (like me) to keep a communal kitty for the absolute necessities and then have them on free issue.
There is still the danger of "it was your (overnight?) friend who used the last of the marge"0 -
Glad to see you back Badger-Lady - this thread always cracks me up :rotfl:
Hope your thighs aren't painful anymore, and not too purple for your hot date tonight!0 -
Ah, no - I treated myself to a paraffin emollient bath last night, then took a maximum dose of paracetamol and ibuprofen to send me off to sleep. I woke up completely pain-free, it was glorious! Just a bit of water-retention now from the paraffin, oh well...
Incidentally, NiceSoFarLodger was back at work today after 1 week off, and was quiet as a mouse. Perhaps we've got over the worst...Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
