Doesn't it form a film on skin and prevent the skin from performing it's vital excretory functions?0 -
hi everyone, I've been doing OCM for a while now (off and on!) and really like it. But I'm looking for advice on how you store your oil? I've been keeping mine in an old pump soap dispenser but it leaks and leaves oil puddles around the bathroom which clearly isn't ideal. I'd really prefer something that has some sort of pump action or where you can dispense without having to lift the bottle since I hate the mess of handling a bottle with oily hands. Anyone any advice?0

I just have mine in a wee plastic bottle on the shelf
It doesnt get oily. I tip what I need into one hand, put the bottle down, do the treatment - then when done wipe down the sink and bottle, replace cap and put it back.
If I notice its getting sticky - I run it under the hot tap0 -
Well I completely went against my dermatologists advice and started to OCM again (jojoba oil with castor oil) Spots are gone. Marks are fading and my skin seems less sensitive to the elements.
I'm now at the point where I'm 'watering' my doublewear foundation down with moisturiser as I don't need the 'medium' coverage but I done't want to buy another foundation lol!0 -

I picked up a little travel set of 100ml bottles in the charity shop and one of them has a mini pump action dispenser. I used to decant into a normal 100ml bottle but find this much better and less messy.

It is castor oil that is the cleansing oil
If you have open ( blocked) pores and blackheads I wouldnt be putting jojoba oil anywhere near my skin0 -

How confusing - here's what http://www.acne.org/regimen.html says:
Applying a moisturizer containing jojoba oil will regulate the skin's oil production.
I don't doubt your findings, Suki, but it goes to show what a minefield "it" is

Primark do a nice little clear travel bag with three easy dispensing bottles and 2-3 little tubs for just £1.
I mix sunflower oil with my castor oil, with literally two drops of tea tree essential oil and one drop of lavender essential oil.0
