yeah what's under the skin will come out. my friend had grit things pop out and she said they must be really old blocked pores.
the castor oil popped my blackheads out. i couldnt believe it  make sure you massage for at least 15 minutes to soften everything up.0 -
I'm thinking of getting one of those facial brush things to massage it in - my arms get tired lol.
Its weird, although I have spots my skin looks better?? IYKWIM
The marks seem to be fading too. Hope it works :j0 -

make sure the brush is very gentle. when i get tired i rest for a few minutes which is fine because i think the skin likes the oil cos it moistureisises.
i think the skin is not being stripped by harsh cleansers and benefits from being massaged. mine is clearer brighter and feels amazing.
you can probably tell i still can't believe the difference the ocm has made to me. :j0 -

Hiyah .. I used Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Castor Oil ... and I tried a few different ratios with it too, thinking I had it too strong for my skin.
I stopped using it before Christmas and my skin is still terrible. It's really depressing because my skin has always been spot free and blemish free so I thought using this would be kinder to it than soap and water, give it a bit of a boost and now it's ruined and, as I say, weeks later, my skin hasn't recovered, so it's best that people really consider this before starting doing it ... as I said, it's fab that it has worked for some people but when it doesn't work it can leave you with awful problems.
Re the castor oil ... places stopped selling it because there were cases of women using it to bring childbirth on .. and not just at the end of their pregnancy if you get my meaning.
I got mine from a Lloyds Chemist, although when I went to a different Lloyds Chemist, they said they didn't stock it so it was just the one that did. They sell it in small bottles for £1.60 odd pence with the constipation relief meds.0 -
YorkiePud - Really sorry that OCM didn't work for you. When I looked into it a lot of people said the EVOO was very heavy which is why I chose jojoba as it was closer to the skins natural sebum. Maybe it was a reaction to the oil? I have come out in a few spots (panic stations yesterday) but I have to say that even this morning my skin looks so much better.
Its just unfortunate that everybodies skin is different.
I love how my skin is going just now!!0 -
im really considering trying the ocm after reading everything on it. I currently use Eve Lom and is so expensive and would like something more natural. I get a spot probably every other day and get a few more at time of the month.
will hopefully get my 'ingredients' this week and start trying it out!0 -
Hi there,
Apologies if anyone has already mentioned this, went to our Indian supermarket today to stock up and noticed that they sell Castor oil. They stock a few other kinds as well but it was the castor oil that I have found hardest to find. Hope this helps.:D0 -

jojoba can be used on skin after it's had plastic surgery/peels etc as it is gentle on the skin.0 -
Well it looks like I picked the right oil then, although hopefully next time i'll find it somewhere cheaper than Holland and Barrett!!
Actually really excited about my castor oil arriving. Really want to de-gunk my pores. To think shoe shopping used to excite me now its degunking my pores!0
