Cont... The staff are friendly and very helpful. There is loads to do onsite for all ages. Even tho only some of the activities are open as its not full season yet. While the site is old, everything is in a good sTate of repair & clean. My boys !!1yr & 3yrs} have loved it. To those that have given away their freebies make sure they have your address with post code and tel no and obv booking no. Hope you all enjoy your holidays i know we have.

Hi all. Just thought i would let you all know that i am on my free PONTINS holiday. We arrived on monday with no paper work & just the booking no. We paid the
£40 upgrade. We arrived at brean sands at about 1.30. Good security getting in. Were told to park & that we could book in at 4. We walked around a bit & then saw recep was empty so tried our luck. Said my baby was needing a bath after being in car for hours & they let us book in at 2.15. :). Our cabin is clean and has all the basic needs met. Cont

Had a lovely break at Hemsby, near Great Yarmouth. The chalet was just fine.........basic and worn, but clean and tidy. Bedding was supplied and was crispy clean (we took our own just in case),cutlery, saucepans and crocks adequate. Such a great place for kids, we were two 50+ women enjoying the fabulous sunshine and taking great walks around Yarmouth and some of the Norfolk Broads nature trails. We used the chalet as a base. I did so enjoy hearing the kids shreiking with delight running around the open spaces totally safe and making good use of the swings, swimming pool etc., plus the golden beach was just up the road passing amusement arcades, kiss me quick hats, candyfloss, burgers, hotdogs and of course, fish and chips! I felt I had stepped back in time as nothing had changed at the seaside since I was a gal. Some kind sole in Chalet 303 had left 1.60 on the electric meter, and there was still 1.01 on it when I left. We did not cook, except make many cups of tea, used the water heater and tv so either our meter was not working properly or Pontins have not set the meters very high. Security was good. All in all a very nice break.......would definitely go again.

    ABSOLUTELY CRACKING POST.

    Thank you,action-smiley-033.gif

Hi just back in from brean, the only things I can suggest you MUST take with, some cooking stuuf, ie wooden spoon, nice sharp knife that will actually but through a tomato, but other than that, all provided for. We cooked all meals at the site and used prob 90p elec a day for 5 of us.
HTH and enjoy your time there, its dated but still usable and enjoyable and there is loads outside the park to do, oh yes and if you want to swim at the beach.......... its about 1 mile out yep the beach is a mile of sand then water lol
