Yeah they have unfortunately, I rang up and quoted the ref etc only to be told they'd all gone.
My kids are 9 and 4 and my 4 year old doesnt know what a holiday is as we've never been able to afford one- I'm gutted I missed this.
Never mind I suppose that'll teach me to keep my eyes on the forum a bit more!0 -

I was thinking about using my CC vouchers but i usually get the sun deals and save my cc vouchers for something else.
lol, I have LOADS of points. ( I am a womble and a user up of as many points coupons as I can!Got about £70 worth this qtr) But we go to Blackpool haven each yr for 4 nights and also get a wristband each for the pleasure beach for while we're there, so we get a 4 night break and day at PB for £100 between the four of us!

Can I just say I find it hard anyone can not "afford" a holiday. Not being nasty just being honest
I mean how much do you pay for internet access? I've paid around £1 a month for mine for 5 yrs although it has caught up with me and I now have to get broadband. That'll be £15 for phone line AND BB. But if you can afford broadband surely you can afford a £40 break? Do you have a mobile? Ditch that. I am 45 and never had a mobile. Wouldn't pay that much to ring people; I have a perfectly good phone at home. I walk everywhere I can and that saves petrol. I never buy cans of pop, bags of sweets, crisps, while out. I buy such stuff in tesco and take em out with us.
I mean you can get a pontins hol for £40/ £60 all year round and clubcard deals get you holidays for free. There are always ways and means, you just have to write everything down.
My mum says I should get a job teaching people how to manage! I've always managed on a shoestring yet have never been in debt bar my mortgage and we have lots of holidays and days out. I just go without other things. Need any help, just holler. (And no, I won't do as my mum says and charge you) LOL

oooh discodee you could start a course in how to maximise tesco points. i want laser eye surgery :T
as for not affording a holiday i think some people just can't spend £40 in a day without budgeting and looking at the spreadsheet etc. first. i know people who don't have credit cards so they can't just pay £40 over the phone for a holiday (well they can, they all use my credit card lol!). i just use a credit card as a spending card and it gets paid in full by direct debit, so i can spend £40 on a holiday if i need to, and i have a few weeks to work out how to make sure the money is in the bank when the credit card takes it.
but some people i know don't have that sort of flexibility because they don't have a card.
also i suppose if you are in debt then a free holiday sounds great but you can't really justify paying for a holiday. if that makes sense.'bad mothers club' member 13

Wow aren't you an example to us all NOT. EVERY individual situation is different i.e. large family, bereavement , divorce , loss of job , closure of business, disability list goes on. so don't give up the day job. People commit suicide because of debt. So not all can afford a holidayNO!MY NAME IS NOT WORZELIM JUST FEELING SLIGHTLY ROUGH TODAY0 -
Very Inspiring.. :T0
