yes you need to pay to get there but you need to buy food when you're at home for goodness sake! We take our own food from tesco and cook it there!
As for spends, as another poster said we spend nothing. We just enjoy the pool the sports court and the entertainment. We have walks and fun together as a family. We take our own sweets and snacks, and we don't buy anything there!
DD How can you give such advice --- and still support Chelsea. Just about the most expensive team in the league!!
Sorry could not resist it!!!Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -

tbh, I have loved football my whole life, I even played it for years as a kid and then for a ladies team in the 80s, but I am very disillusioned in the game now. It's no longer about the fans but about money. I refuse to pay for a football shirt or for a ticket to a game while illiterate bed hopping imbeciles are being paid in excess of 50 grand a week for doing something we all do for love. I do own 2 chelsea shirts but they have autoglass and Coors on them :rotfl: Both of those were got for peanuts after the strip had changed.
I maylove football but I refuse to line the players/clubs pockets. In the seventies football was good and players were paid a decent wage and stayed loyal to their clubs Now it's all about how much money they can earn and stuff their club.I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...0 -

Can Ijust one again say, I wasn't having a go at anyone, I just think we can all afford a cheap hol, it's just that maybe we dont want to go withoutthings in order to have one.
ie I haven't had a night out with my hubby for years. I could say we can't really afford it. of course we COULD but it would mean maybe going without a holiday, or a day out, and I prefer to spend the money on the kids because they're not kids long. WE had lots of nights out hefore they were born and there'll be plenty of time later on. But that's our choice. Some people may prefer to go out, or have sky tv, or smoke.
My sister's kids have never had a holiday and she is always skint yet her partner earns more than my DH and she smokes 20 cigs a day which amounts to almost £40 a week! That's over £2,000 a year! But that's her choice.
Sometimes things that are typed come across differently than if they'd been spoken. I wasn't meaning tp upset anyone, it is just an observation that in general, most people can afford a cheap break, it is all about what THEY choose to make a priorityI can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...0 -

I have just phoned again, hoping they had added extra dates. Spoke to a lovely woman who said both codes were now expired but she had a good look and found a Monday to Friday break in the 6 weeks holidays for me, OH and kids half price to £175. Although this is still alot, she said I could pay for it in tesco deals. I have asked her to hold the holiday to think it over.
In the past I have booked Haven using tesco deals and had to pay full brochure price, even though their where half price hols available. So just thought i would let you know it is possible to pay for a cheaper holiday with deals0
