Thats a fantastic idea!. If everybody does it, then every persons signature will soon fill an entire page, and be duplicated over and over.

    No.. dont do it!

I think it would be really usefull, but can see sandybrag's point - maybe if just two of the really regular posters do it we can cover both issues??
  • ok, good point, taken mine off

Not sure if what Mr T exec man, is getting at here is where they have a label say product has fixed price of say 15.94, says 15.94 on pack and 15.94 on shelf label, yet the Kg is slightly out say buy 1p or 2p from shelf to pack, due to slight differences in packs weights, although the overall pack price is as per the shelf label. One of the Bigger steak value packs has something like this, I have noticed it in the past that although it's a bit mixed up the pack price in total equates to the total shelf price.

I'll make a note of it next time I am in and try to explain it a bit better with all facts to hand.
The complaint I'd written to Tesco was with regard to cheese which had a SEL of (I think) £2.50 per kilo, but the packs were marked at £2.52 per kilo, which I was charged. In reality the overall difference on the packs was only a matter of a few pence and I'd never have noticed it if I hadn't been looking for mis prices.

Of course if I bought a £3.99 box of choccies at Tesco and turned up at the checkout with £3.97 they'd feel quite within their rights to refuse my business but it doesn't seem to work the other way around.
Life should be a little nuts; otherwise it's just a bunch of Thursdays strung together.

I agree if a few of us update signatures from what's been spotted that should do the trick.
  • I got some mispriced cheese and Salmon last week :T and obviously when you get the refund you have to put down your name & address.

I'm worried that they'll soon switch on to what I am doing and ban me.
    Could this ever happen?

    Thanks in advance

What's obvious about them taking your name and address they have no right to ask for such information and even less right to store it on file, did you ask them what they need the info for and to what use they may put it to? Next time if it concerns you to supply the info just refuse to do so and challenge them about their request.

  • The in store price scanner is your friend.

WARNING: Got 'lumbered' with the following 'faux amis' items although I don't really mind:
Tesco 10 Kidz size cereals - correctly charged shelf price of 88p even though pack says 98p.
Gammon - correctly charged £7.97 despite the pack price of £8.48.
Organic mince - correctly charge shelf price of £2.59 as opposed to pack price of £2.79.

    Good luck to all!
