As you have been cautioned then that's it. A police caution is just a formal warning about your future conduct. Its used instead of a prosecution, It should have been explained to you You should also have agreed to the caution
Put it down to experience and I suggest you add your MOT date to your diary so you don't forget again
She's not been cautioned as in a formal Caution which goes on your record, she was advised of her rights under Code C of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984. As in her right to remain silent.
She could still well be fined for no MOT.0
