How do you decide how to select who gets your Freecycle item - first to respond - all names in a hat - best reason - I have 9 people after some spare glued type Laminate? Help

Can only suggest a bacon or gammon joint for your relatives as it seems to be the only common denominator.

DD is bringing one or two friends back for tea tonight so am making spag bol as they like that.

Hugs to penny pincher and AB.

I was going to go shopping in York but feel really tired and started sneezing just now so might just take it easy - apart from making tea for tonight and twinks hobnobs - maybe some rolls as well.

Wonder if it is too early to have hay fever?

Hugs to all and see you later

Rzl - when do the proms start? They must be coming up soon!!
They start in mid July :) I am currently waiting to get my season ticket in the post. It is a big expense every year - it's gone up again and is now £190 - but to keep me out of mischief for the evenings and weekends over the summer and get me into as many as 76 different concerts, it's well worth it (I sound like a Mastercard advert :D :rotfl:) Usually I go to between 30 and 45 of the concerts in total, which is still excellent value. There is some good stuff on this year: http://www.bbc.co.uk/proms/2008/

elona and pink.1970 - I've PM'd you - hope the instructions make sense!

hello and good morning ladies and gents.

A bit dull and dank here today. Good reason to stay inside and have a completely OS non-spending day :D

WM on with 2nd load, DW not yet full and dinner and lunch are salady things to use up what's in the fridge. Just got the hoovering and a quick dust and wipe round the bathrooms to do and we'll be all spick and span.

very sad last night as a very good freind called asking if i was free this week for a catch-up. turns out she and her husband have split-up (although it's a trial seperation apparently). They only got married last year, 3 months before us. I can see it's not been an easy decision and I hope that i can be there for her and be non-judgemental and supportive. So she's coming for dinner and I'm going to make yummy salmon steaks to cheer her up :D

hugs to everyone - especially PP. Try not to stress yourself out too much love. Let us help you by carrying some of the load :D

Phew, have managed to move everything back into makeover room except a wardrobe and large chest of drawers. Just have to vacume and polish later.

Have to stop and cook DD & SiL to be, their dinners that I drop off when I go to take their 2 labs for a walk, on Wed and Thursdays, could do without it as time is running away and I have so much to do. Have some beef casserole for them tonight and spanish omelette for tomorrow.
Will have to do a big shop today also.

ELONA, that's a brilliant idea :T , Gammon joint it is. I could serve it with jackets, salad, sweetcorn and peas, at least they both eat peas. your a star.
That's Friday's menu sorted and have planned to do spag bol for Saturday. Strangely enough Mum will eat minced beef as she sais it's not like real beef:confused:

Hope you're all enjoying your day
