It's working at the moment. It's not a technical problem, they just close it when it is being updated or when there is not enough stock. It was never designed to be operational 24/7.

Remember that it will only be officially open on Wednesdays from now on - though it is still open today.

It says that the store closes on 3rd October so i presume it has closed now?

The 3rd October date is when it was due to stop opening every day and goes back to opening on just Wednesdays as it used to be. Though it is still open today as I say. Also mentioned in first post

Just in case anyone is worried about these being refurbs, I've had many refurbished products from the online Applestore over the years - a few iPods for my kids, iBooks and a G4 iMac which I'm using now. All these have been 'as new', and the only problem so far has been an iBook battery which lost its charge capacity after 11 months and which Apple replaced by UPS delivery THE NEXT DAY after ringing them.

Apple is a superb company to deal with, with some of the best products around. Doubtless there will always be some batteries with problems, but Apple generally deal with these correctly, and if the warranty period is over, as others have said, you can change the battery yourself with a little courage.

Which means, assuming you are asking a question(?), that there are no products for sale on the refurb store this week.

The title says it all - access:

This seems to be a pre-photo iPod, but still a good price for 20g, and includes a dock and carrying case.

Edit: Should have added that the Refurb store is only open on Wedesdays, and stocks are usually very low, so don't delay if you want one. Also don't worry about these being 'refurbished' - all the stuff I've had from here has been in 'as new' condition, and there's a year's hardware warranty.

also on the John Lewis site they are doing brand new20 gb ipods with photos for £179, however don't have dock or case
