They still have the 20gb on site for £148 - presumably this isn't selling as well because we are all waiting for the smaller one;)
  • Seriously do you guys think they will have more 10gb ipod in stock or not? :(

Well obviously there's no sure way of knowing unless someone actually works for Apple, but if you read my first post there's a chance that there will be more stock in on Tuesday.

but was that referring to the 10gb ipod tho ?

    thanks a lot
  • For those with good hand-eye coordination and a bit of patience, replacement batteries are available for considerably less than £50 (Maplin, 3rd gen ipod battery - £14.99) and dismantling/fitting details are readily available from many sources for free online.

You can also buy extended life batteries on eBay. 99p for the battery, 9.49 for the P&P. While probably not for everyone, it's worth considering. I had a similar issue with my Palm Tungsten C. Low battery after 2 years. Picked up a new one, and replaced it myself - total cost approx £10.

    Cheers,
    Mike
