That's funny 'cos I rang and was told that the links were down but would be fixed this afternoon??

yup, they have just removed all Ipods from the refurb store... :(

i think that's what they meant by "fix"...

i wonder if they are gonna get any more of these...
  • 20gb ipod is in stock now... but is it a bargain at £149??

  • i dont really think that the 20gb one is a bargain, its a refurb and it costs £149, could well just get a brand new nano ones with that sort of price... (ok, its different a lot in terms of storage space with nano, but i guess most ppl would prefer the nano if they got £149)

Also if you are paying £149 for 20gb ones, why not pay £158 for the 30gb one? just £10 difference and u get 10 more gb

As Gameplayers said, £149 for a 20GB 3rd gen is not a particularly great price - you can get rival Sony players for around that pricepoint which are, arguably, superior.

If it was a 4th gen then it would be better deal - better battery, clickwheel, and features.

BTW reports coming in from people who've received the 10 and 15GB models, they are indeed brand new - they come in a plain box but all contents are as new.
  • I agree. I managed to pick up one of the 10GB players for £76 (thanks to Charlie12's post) which I think is a bargain. I was willing to pay that sort of money for a cheap no-brand player off ebuyer etc, and certainly didn't expect 10gb for the money!
  • oh my god, i did had a chance of ordering one the other day :(

i was a bit worry about the refurb goods, but then by the time i read ur post, saying that they are brand new, it was a bit too late cos the stock ran out :( oh man...

My 15GB model arrived this morning. Looks brand new to me - no scratches, mirror finish on back, etc. As charlie12 said, brown cardboard outer box contained foam housing ipod and accessories, so no fancy packaging to collect dust in the attic! :D
  • oh guys, i really really want the 10gb one. :(

do you guys think that they will have some more 10gb in stock later on? :(
