  • Wow...... thanks guys. I didn't think i would get that many replys. Thanks for the links i'll have a look at them. I didn't think he had a claim but think his mate has been putting words into his head.
It's really put my mind at rest
Advice on here for the most part, is based on opinions and not always on facts.
Your ex may claim that he has what is called a "beneficial interest" in the house because he was there for 5 years...and it does not matter if the house is in your name only.
Only a solicitor can advise him on whether or not it is worth him claiming 'beneficial interest' or not.
You, on the other hand, don't need to do anything unless he does have a solicitor write to you.
  • Ruby - like me, you were reading a thread from last year. Apparently OP's ex has been on with his side of things.

Still cant see an answer to him paying maintenance for his previous children?
Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed. ;)

If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

Tragically nothing odd at all just terribly typical of the breed. She paid 100% of her Council Tax- as due as a single person. The propogating parasite failed to contribute a penny and therefore is 100% in arrears. Sadly he's yet another example of the " I love my kiddies" but have no intention of paying for them type that having once spawned litter move onto another doubtless younger and more gullible victim upon which to inflict further dysfunctional runts. All to suckle deeply from the bountiful breast of the poor b***dy taxpayer.

another case of going for the jugular, without giving him the chance to explain if this is true or not
  • Well well well........ dont forget the rest "darling ex" .... How i funded the work by re mortgaging. How i had a loan for the car.. which i have paid off btw.

So btw the car i gave to you... as you said above you only spent £187 to get fixed ... bit different to the £500 you said it had cost ?? Oh n dont forget the business i helped you set up lol.. even lent you the money to buy the van with your team mate., which you did pay me back eventually ;-). But you had been saying for the last 5 yrs you wanted your own van !!! So i suppose you did when someone else bought it ;-)

Hotels with married men ???? Change the record !!!!!!.

If you're in such a good place then why all this ?? Let it go n move on... Or should i have to say what you've done since ?? If you're such a good guy ;-)

I`m a tradesman,, so yes,, most of the work was done by me. And costed and funded by me.

I paid £125 a week plus paying for all the other nice stuff ,, nights out n all that..

i dont know where £500 a month went, my wages (about £500 a week) went into her account and at the end of the month,, including her wage of 750 a month it was always empty....

I`m now renting a room,, she has a nice two up /two down fully modernised ,, by ME,house,, and i have nothing...
But i`m not bitter.. Just sad that she needs to spout all this online to ppl she doesnt know,, n who also dont know what she is like...

    Anyway,, there endeth the lesson

Ahem .... funded by re mortgaging ...Wages you spent on beer, boys toys n weekends away !!! Also me on £750 p/mth  behave !!! pmsl.

BTW ya didnt have a bank account until last year because you didnt want the CSA to find you ;-). Also asked your mates to register the car so they wouldnt know you had 1... even they told ya to :A ***
