I've got about 26K and my DMP said 9 years but as I am due to pay off my mortgage in 5 years, I intend to have cleared my debts before my mortgage free date.

my debt is quite small but so is my income and i am a single parent so it feels big to me.
my debt is just under £1,200 i am paying back £15 a week. and it does not occur interest. i was paying more but cut it back a bit to open a regular saver as that will get interest which i can use to pay off my debt to. i am not to stressed about it but it bugs me so i want it paid and put in the past. i was a debt of £23,000 !!!! AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH from department of work!!!! wow phoned them up today to see how much i owe and my debt is now only £947.80!!!! yeah

We have 40472.58 (as a rough guess!) of debt and we expect it cleared by Dec 2011.

On top of that we also have a mortgage with 128,000 outstanding and has 22 years left to run.

Hopefully once the debts are paid off we can start overpaying on the mortgage - but that seems a long way off yet! x x

    Hi Lisa

You ready for this, we owe £95,000 in unsecured debts, excluding mortgage.

We expect it to be cleared in 5 years, although we're on a DMP, we're in the process of an IVA.

Just under £9,000 now. Would have been paid of this year but gonna be renting my own place which is gonna set it back. At the minimum rate it will be another 2 years. But I hope to have it gone by this time next year!

I owe £27k+ and plan on having it cleared in about two years. Like SS my DFD has just taken a bit of a hit because I have decided to live solo (my sanity being more important (just) than my DFD). It would have been cleared October 2009 but now is more like April-June 2010
