Oh thank heaven's it's not just me. I think it was a drastic waste of cash. It overbeats everything even on the lowest setting, cakes comes out powdery! The attachments are an absolute PITA to clean. I use it for meringue and not much else; and the hand beater would do that. It's a useless waste of space.
I also don't like the slow cooker or the yoghurt maker - although OH uses it.
I do use the steamer every day though

I've got NOTHING! I don't even own any pans, just use the ones here.
I want a blender-thingy for soup, and an old-fashioned style electric whisk for cake, egg whites etc so I can do things where you need one of them, and a food-processor-thingy for, erm, stuff... And scales, but there are some I can and do use. But that's it really. Rice cooker? Isn't that just... a pan?
Oh I tell you what else I want, not a deep fat fryer but a chip pan! But you can't seem to get them anymore, I think they were deemed dangerous at some point in my childhood. I've had a deep fryer before and they're murder to clean out in comparison.0 -

 I may have one of these too, but it was bought for me as a present. I've used it twice in six months"A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper

I got rid of my deep fat fryer as it scared me
I gave away my le cruset griddle pan as it was so rubbish
My very expensive blender isn't used often as I always burn myself- but that may be due to me over filling it
Gave away my fruit juicer as it was such a bind to clean- even with a dishwasher!
BUT love my gadgets so will just fill them up more as soon as I get rid of others!Feb GC: £200 Spent: £190.790 -

I didn't realise there was such a thing as an "official" chip-pan which you could buy. Not that I have one mind you, but my Mum always used a really heavy-bottomed normal one AND she used lard. I dread to think what my arteries were like as a youngster as we demanded chips at least two or three times a week .0 -

Just had a quick look and Wilkinsons do sell chip pans. Mine isn't the same as that though. Mine doesn't have the extra handle, so maybe mine wasn't from there.

Edited to add - I've only got a couple of things that reside at the back of a cupboard. The MR 6.5l slow cooker, which I used several times over the first few months....But it's been sat in the cupboad for going on a year now. I treated myself to a lovely big enamel stockpot a few months ago, because I just felt that I prefered the taste of stews cooked on the stove (or in the oven). So, the sc will likely go on ebay when I get around to clearing the cupboard out.
The other thing that I wish I hadn't bought was a Kenwkood compact food processor. Only used that twice and it's been bagged and sat in a cupboard for over a year.0 -
The only thing i've got that hardly gets used is the chocolate fountain. It was only £4 though so i don't mind just using it once in a blue moon. I sold the donut maker
and steamer at a carboot sale a couple of years ago as they were never used.
I've got a microwave, a toaster, a breadmaker, a slowcooker, a food processor, a coffee perculator, an electric whisk, a toastie maker, and a george. These all get used on a regular basis I melted my hand whisk.:o
I would like a popcorn maker. But, last time we made popcorn OH put some in a plastic bowl and then put another one on the top and the microwaved it. It worked really well so i may try that myself next time.0 -
i have a duck -shaped pop corn maker thats been on top of kitchen cupboard for 4 years!0
