  • I was bought an electric whisk for my last birthday and haven't even opened the box. Why should I use electricity for doing things that I was taught to do (and still do) with a hand whisk from childhood.

But I sneakly use a mandolin when I have guests around for dinner.

A stick blender and good knives are the only necessities.

I know others might think differently, but having had all the gizmos over the years, the above two items are the must haves for me anyway.

    So much space saved aswell!

    Think about it....

    Gadgets are marketed.

Mandolins are good if you can avoid slicing off your digits! And they don't use electricity either. Enjoy.
  • I have a party pastry maker, its the only thing that didn't go to the carboot with the fajita maker, super slicer, milk frother and panini press. No idea why kept it as used once in 5 years.

    One day....
