Urrgh, how frustrating cooking -mama. As far as I can remember in my box there were: the big base, the lid plus the blue rubber seal, a stainless steel trivet (with holes in) and an instruction book which had a few basic recipes, but nothing else. That's why I ordered the extra cookbook which they showed on the UK website (about £7 for a slim, spiral bound volume) but when I looked lately that no longer seems to be on the website (unless I was looking on the wrong site, cos they seem to have more than one). But that big download has masses more recipes than there are in my little book, so I think you've probably got it all. Happy cooking !

I have a slow cooker but only use it for making stock, I use my pressure cooker a lot. yesterday I cooked some dried beans I had been soaking 20 minutes and they were done.

When I cook baked spuds I put them in the microwave for a couple of mintes and then put them in the remoska, do not take so long to cook then especially if you have a couple of large ones.
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

Morganleyfay,I wa home too late to try out the kuhn rikon, but it looks very impressive...im a bit dissapointed at the lack of info with it tho....its a very large box with the PC in the middle of it,then there are 2 side "boxes",inside one was a white paged instruction manual in loads of different langauges, but nothing in the other...am i missing a recipe book or something?.im sure when i saw this instore there was a recipe book included???

I bought my KR from lakeland and didn't get a recipe book either.

Thanks morganleyfay and seraphina, sounds like everything is there that should be....(what a waste of packaging tho),I think i was getting confused as some other online retailers were including the UK kuhn rikon book,"Fresh food fast",I thought Lakeland were too..Im gonna order Susanne Gibbs book from Amazon, its around £10,but it looks good.
Anyhow,im looking forward to using my new PC today, gonna stick with a simple roast chicken and corn on the cob..the kuhn rikon is so sleek and shiny looking,it seems a shame to dirty it;)
Its gonna be good being able to do the potatoes in the Prestige PC at the same time too,il update the pressure cooker recipe topic on how it goes. :)

It's only £4.99 from The Book People! LINK

I'm sure there's a free delivery code kicking around somewhere.

On Amzon, both product descriptions are similar, and both books are by Susanne Gibbs, both have 80 recipes, and both have 192 pages.Dont want to spend £10 if i can buy the same for £5.

Money is not the root of all evil.
It depends on how you obtain it and how you use it.
