British Airways Make me angry

yes i do and that is why I chose a mode of travel that ensures comfort for my child and not rely on airlines etc. to do a parents job.
I think you are rather missing the point. The OH was relying on the airline to provide what they had paid for. If the airline highlights a certain service as part of their promotional package then they should provide that service. If not, then the customer should not be expected to pay for it.0 -
exactly, the parent made sure their child had everything they would need / make them comfortable, they did not rely on anyone else like the airline.
I was on a flight where one of the engines caught fire on take off, we were delayed by 4 hours. There was no talk of or question about getting compensation., these things happen. Non working IFE hardly compares.
How could you possibly know for certain that no-one on that flight tried to claim compensation?0 -
Depending on the length of the flight,Ssss ,you probably would have been entitled to free food and drink vouchers, phone calls etc. Many airlines choose not to tell you this at the time, but it's your rightfull entitlement,I would have taken it.0

A small part of BA's profit of £883 million for the year was generated by NOT maintaining/repairing the IFE system on that plane.
Therefore any passenger who was displeased by the defective IFE should be entitled to be compenstated with a small part of that £883 million. It's only reasonable.
I would expect at least £25 cash for each adult or child passenger, not intangible refunds of a voucher or discount on future flights or duty free purchases from the in-flight service for example.
If they hade repaired the IFE, they wouldn't have made quite so much profit!!British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
HAHA saw that on the news this morning withabix makes me more determined to get more out of them now, off to post on the link earlier in this thread now, as ive got a bit of time this morning,
Can i just say my kids are 12 and 14 so they wouldnt need to colouring packs etc, so the IFE would of been better for them and they certainly wouldnt be running round the plane annoying other passengers lol
Will keep thread updated
Where abouts in Canada are you going withabix and are you flying BA lol0 -
