You don't need a headache but you may get toothache! There's a thread about microwave tablet HERE some use evaporated milk but I prefer condensed milk.

Headache, toothache, who cares? Will feel much better after I've had some!

  • I only like it if its the Nestles one (i.e. not the skimmed, Fussells one as that tastes grainy I think). I like it just plain, but I also like to mix it with some philadelphia cheese and make cheesecake.

Hey, they now do it in a tube. Less messy than a spoon me thinks. Ooooh can feel another filling coming on:D

Don't have to faff with boiling tins for hours with this recipe!
Lots of other tooth rotting/migraine inducing recipes here too for when you feel the urge.... The Ultimate Fudge & Tablet among others
    Enjoy!
  • From the side of a Nestle Condensed Milk tin the nicest and easiest cheescake recipie i have ever done. (i posted this on the cheesecake thread too!)

Apparently serves 6-8 i beg to differ, it serves me

    3oz butter
    8oz digestives crushed
    30mml double cream
juice and rind of 4 lemons
1 (397g) can of condensed milk

Melt the butter and stir in the crushed busciuts, press into the base and sides (i never do the sides) of a 8" loose bottomed tin. Chill
Whisk the remaining ingredients together until thick and creamy, pour over the biscuit base
Chill (it then says decorate but i just eat it!)

Home made "Bounty" bars - my favourites and so so easy to make

coconut, milk - roll into balls, dip into chocolate and refrigerate; most of the recipes call for nuts but I like mine plain.........

    Wow!!

Thanks everyone, think I am going to try the chocolate caramel fingers, only problem is I dont have an 8 inch square tins (am guessing round will be ok as my lot dont care what it looks like so long as it tastes good!) actually I guess i could cut it into a square shape and then slice and then I could eat the cut off bits!

May have to try the cheese cake too (well I have got 2 tins to use up!!) will pop and add lemons to my tesco order due for delivery tomorrow.

    Well done everyone

This is a bit mundane after the previous recipes but it will make a cracking rice pudding. Just use a tin to replace some of the milk in your usual recipe.
