Headache, toothache, who cares? Will feel much better after I've had some! It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.:kisses3:0 -
I only like it if its the Nestles one (i.e. not the skimmed, Fussells one as that tastes grainy I think). I like it just plain, but I also like to mix it with some philadelphia cheese and make cheesecake.Jane

I like a dash of it in coffee, as they do in the carribbean
Sweet but really yum
I actually used some evaporated but condensed will do too I guess when making rice pudding the other day:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Don't have to faff with boiling tins for hours with this recipe!
Lots of other tooth rotting/migraine inducing recipes here too for when you feel the urge.... The Ultimate Fudge & Tablet among others
Enjoy!0 -
From the side of a Nestle Condensed Milk tin the nicest and easiest cheescake recipie i have ever done. (i posted this on the cheesecake thread too!)
Apparently serves 6-8 i beg to differ, it serves me
3oz butter
8oz digestives crushed
30mml double cream
juice and rind of 4 lemons
1 (397g) can of condensed milk
Melt the butter and stir in the crushed busciuts, press into the base and sides (i never do the sides) of a 8" loose bottomed tin. Chill
Whisk the remaining ingredients together until thick and creamy, pour over the biscuit base
Chill (it then says decorate but i just eat it!)0 -
Home made "Bounty" bars - my favourites and so so easy to make
coconut, milk - roll into balls, dip into chocolate and refrigerate; most of the recipes call for nuts but I like mine plain.........

Wow!!
Thanks everyone, think I am going to try the chocolate caramel fingers, only problem is I dont have an 8 inch square tins (am guessing round will be ok as my lot dont care what it looks like so long as it tastes good!) actually I guess i could cut it into a square shape and then slice and then I could eat the cut off bits!
May have to try the cheese cake too (well I have got 2 tins to use up!!) will pop and add lemons to my tesco order due for delivery tomorrow.
Well done everyone0 -

Crikey, there's a trip down memory lane. Haven't made them since I was at school, some.....years ago! Tablet AND bounty bars this weekend then. Gee, thanks guys! It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.:kisses3:0 -
This is a bit mundane after the previous recipes but it will make a cracking rice pudding. Just use a tin to replace some of the milk in your usual recipe.0
