Put the two unopened tins into water and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 2 hours. When they have cooled you can keep this lovely toffee mix for ages in the cupboard, ready for the next bannoffee pie.

Just thought of something else! I think there is a drink made with guiness mixed with condensed milk, but not sure what the quantities are. Maybe someone else could help out with this one.:beer:It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.:kisses3:0

OOh sounds lovely. How do you make that then? Do I need to have a headache before I eat it?:rotfl:It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.:kisses3:0 -

Yes!
I like to open the tin and put it in the fridge covered in cling film for a while. It then goes really thick. (In fact, I buy a tin and pour it into a tupperware container and keep it in the fridge, and then have a spoonful of sugary heaven every now and then)
Also sublime soread on bread or toast.
And some people put it in coffee (omit sugar if you normally take it)0
