    Hello

Travis if they're glass then take them off and wash them in a washing-up liquid solution, if they're fabric (which I'm guessing they are) give them a good hoover then flick them over with a damp cloth that's been soaked in washing-up liquid solution, I guess you'll just have to keep doing that until they're eventually clean. Some fabric shades come off and you can bung them in the washing machine.

Did littleys room before I went to work so that's done....just the master bedroom and bathroom to do now. Just done an entire 2 bed apartment in 1 hr 15 mins, think that's my record :j my back's going mad now though I really should do hyper extensions/sit-ups and stomach crunches to strengthen my mid section/sort my back out.....but......y'know  ouch! :D

You sound like me yesterday. If I am in the mood I can do the whole place in an hour or so (if the kids are not in - lol!). Unfortunatley they can trash the whole place in a matter of seconds, especially DD2.

Shell - LOL yeah kids are experts at 60 second trashes, so are OH's come to think of it, well, mine is  thank goodness I don't live with him I'd strangle him within a week, as lovely as he is. Since starting my cleaning job I've become a bit of a neat freak and OCD-ee :o

The lady I cleaned for today is always amazed at my speed, guess the more you do something the quicker you become, it gets quite embarrassing sometimes though, especially on here, but I can't help it lol

Just loaded the maiden with 1 load of washing, I'll summon up the energy shortly to go and retrieve the other loads that need doing, including bedding *groans* where will i dry them all.....certainly not the dryer that's for sure it costs too much now.

Happy Birthday to the three "birthday girls" and hugs to all who need them.

In reply to the dummy dilemma - OH bought 3 yesterday and we're already back up to 5 despite the fact that I scoured the place on hands and knees as much as a 7mth pregnant bump allows yesterday and found none! The upside is that cos she was so late to bed DD slept til 6.30 this morning.

Have had a trip out to my younger cousin's school fair this morning- it's a Steiner school so lots of whole foods and maypole dancing but fun had by all and I'm now watching the FA cup while doing a bit of NCT Mag designing because DD is aseep.

Thanks Travis...you made me check my lampshades and a couple of them aren't so good (don't tell Pigpen!!).

Does anyone know if I can bake with utterly butterly. I kept buying it when it was half price and I fancy making chocolate and raspberry muffins...can I use it? I'm being careful after trying to make biscuits with flora light last year.....concrete! xx

Sorry Mudbath - never tried using utterly buttery. I had some in the fridge and wondered about using it to make coffee butter icing but chicken out and used clover as usual. Does it say anything on the tub?

I have just ordered DD2 dolly pram, plus a couple of other bits from tesco direct. They have some stuff on half price so have got few bits/games to go in the birthday pressie box;) . Its great they get invited to parties but it works out expensive:eek: .

Just gonna put the cat in the kitchen and feed him then I am off home. Yes we have an office cat (he has been here about 13 years) but no he is not nice and will bite or scratch anyone he gets the chance too! Good for business, especially when you get people coming in with young children  .

Mudbath I use utterly butterly for baking if thats all I've got in the fridge. I've never had any problems so give it a whirl.

Kids are driving me absolutely mad today. DD is feeling a bit better now that the banana medicine is starting to work and has decided to make it her job to annoy DS all day. Don't you just love it when you can't kick them outside. It's raing heavens hard here again. Hope it bucks up soon.

Right I'd better get some dinner on else everyone will be complaing they are starving again.

    See you later.
