Hello and help! I think you're just the swift kick up the derriere that I'm in need of! Can I join?
Briefly, I'm 7 months pregnant with No2 (No 1, "I" as she will be known) will be 18 months when no2 makes their appearance. I've been suffering with SPD which meant domestic things at home have been completely ignored BUT my magic chiropractor has just about fixed me so I feel able to get on and do a bit more now!
In addition we have been going through a move/ not move trauma for 6 months now - we had one house purchase fall through after the survey, then last month we were (get this, in this market) - gazumped! Possibly a good thing as though it would eventually have been our dream house it is currently a grade 2 listed wreck, which with 2 under 2 woud have been chaos.
Then it turned into a stay/move in same area/ move county (OH is currently commuting over 3 hrs a day and doesn't get to see I during week)/ move country (Bahrain or Dubai with OH's work) four way tie. We've now decided that we're staying put til no2 is born but in the meantime looking for house MUCH closer to OHs work with view to moving whenever we're able after.
So, we're putting lots of stuff into storage in the meantime cos in our (admittedly bigger than average) 2 bed terrace we not ony will have 2 kids and dog but also 40 yrs worth of paperwork from OHs inherited business, too much furniture, lots of my teaching guff I'm plucking up the courage to fling and I need more breathing space! Now we've made a decision I feel able to start things moving properly
You know I said "briefly" at the beginning?..... Sorry! Do not read any further - my list is giving me palpitations!

Thanks gunsandbanjos - He just left the office, secretary came in, other guy in the office mentioned something and I've booed my eyes out. I feel like such a tit. Ok, am breathing and will try a smile in a minute. Thanks xxOfficial DFW Member 716 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
welcome doug.. you'll have to make do with that lol.. Right.. you can cross of half of that list... we have seen lists like that before .. Michelle.. Jill and Johanne all had lists like that.. would you ladies tell her what to cross off please?!! I just read down that list and thought !!!!!! does a baby want a mobile for.. they can't speak and they'll only dribble on it.. then I realised.. a cot mobile.. of course... get a rellie to buy it as a baby-warming present. Don't argue over the birth plan.. say this is it.. like it or lump it and I'll go for a homebirth. they back down IMMEDIATELY!! Believe me.. Also, OH's auntie is coming to take DD1 for a few hours this afternoon :T

Morning
BIG congrats to your sis and you pigpen WOOT! :j
Lil_me Matthew is gorgeous!
Ashbart the crying's just a release of temper, don't worry about it, I'm sure your boss isn't giving any of it a second thought so why should you.
Welcome dougie :hello: What a list! instead of crossing things off for you I'm just gonna say, delegate to OH/parents/friends/distant relations/neighbours/peeps off the street if you have to, put your feet up your cooking a new life.
Unexpected morning off this morning, which is fab but I loose some money which I don't like lol my finances are taking a battering this week what with being off some of last week too I kinda felt sorry for myself and splurged a little bit oopsno savings this week I don't think.
DD1 didn't get the job at T-Mobile  she fluffed up the maths test....what like they're all capable anyway  anyway she's got a job interview at New Look this avo for a trainee position, money is crap but it's better than nowt plus she'll get NVQ training in management.
Done lots of housey things this morning, too many to mention but put it this way, the downstairs isn't full of junk anymore, lots of shifting/lifting/moving/throwing out been done.
I'll join you for that HHC @ 10.15 pigpen, I need to do hoovering and stuff now. Got a couple of curries on the bubble at the mo, one for tonights tea and one for the freezer so just need to boil up some rice when I finish work this afternoon.
Best go stir the pans.....0
