Mudbath - I'd be mad too - stupid woman. I heard a Mum say that she'd be glad when this week was over so her child (7) could have friends for tea again. He has not been allowed since september as it is a SATs year - stupid parent!

Night all. Won't be around tomorrow as I have an entire day of invigilating to do.

  • Mudbath- as pigpen said ,The SATs are an assessment of the teachers ability to teach. i never have made a big thing out of the SATS with my 2, unlike some mums who's kids i use to see at primary school crying and feeling sick with worry because they were been put under so much pressure. tell your DD she will do fine and not to worry.
Back on MSE again! to take control of my finances and not let it control me. :T May grocery challenge £41.96/140

Thanks so much everyone, I'm glad i'm not the only one who doesn't want to stress my children. Up until now my two have loved doing the SATs as i've always reiterated what the school says...it's fun! Our teachers say that the headmaster has got some lovely swanky new books that only need to be used once so all the children can actually write in the books and they love it. Jee...if my mate stresses over the sats can you imagine what it'll be like when her children are doing GCSEs!

    Thanks again xx

Apparently the 'drinking' consisted of the group who laid the turf then going to the park for a champagne breakfast.

Evening all, I'm absolutely shattered, club wasn't busy but that mean't less of us to deal with setting out/clearing away. Boys were being a pain too, but they're in bed now and dinner is in the oven (forgot before we went)

Congratulations Pigpen and your sis and her parter of course, fab news :D

Mudbath hugs for you and your DD, and give your friend a kick in the foof from me!

Dusty, I remember the days of Matthew being poorly like they were yesterday, the call to say he'd become critical and his heart had failed, the one saying he was through the surgery then of course the brilliant one when he was on his way home! He's coming along really well now, he's teething at the mo which means he's a little cranky but hospital all clear on every check so far :D
One day I might be more organised...........
