When I got married (some 15 years ago) I bought shop ones and did calligraphy (sp?) writing in them. You can get some really nice invites not just the sheet of paper ones like the kiddies party invites. Have a look around on line. Ours were card ones that opened up and they were really pretty.
Rach got married earlier this year and I know she did H/M cards so she would probably be the best person to tell you how long it took.0 -

Killer Kitchen - Monday
Level One
[strike] Clear and wipe work surfaces[/strike]
[strike] Get that radio on super-blast... [/strike] Getting my own back on next door who woke me with a domestic at 12.30 that carried on until gone 1am :rolleyes: I'm sure they appreciated "On my knees" by 411 being blasted at 9am:rotfl:
[strike] Open the windows and let in the summer![/strike]
Level Two
[strike] Sweep and[/strike] Mop the floor
[strike] Clean the gacky filters and drawers from DW's, WM's etc[/strike]
[strike] Wipe the cupboard fronts, all the appliances and all those manky corners!![/strike]
Level Three
[strike] Wipe the table, replace cloth if needed[/strike]
[strike] Empty and clean out the fridge.. including the drain hole bit at the back.. [/strike]
[strike] Clean oven/hob [/strike]

Clean windows and sills
Mad Tuesday - Living room, Hallway, Stairs
Level One
[strike]Open the windows and let in some fresh air[/strike]
Level Two
Vacuum floors and sofas
Dust those flat fluffy surfaces
Level Three
Vacuum under the furniture you can move
Clean windows, pictures, mirrors etc.
Vacuum hall, landing and stairs.. all the way up to the top!!!!!
Extras- Wipe woodwork in the hall and stairs & wipe front door.. inside and out!
- 15 minutes filing
Level One
wash any curtains/blinds/mats etc that need doing
DUST
Level Two
Vacuum the floors
Clean bath, toilet and sink
Wipe down the tiles
Level Three
Wipe away cup rings and sticky things
wipe the keyboard, mouse, cables and sockets and suchlike.
Clean the windows.
Extras- HHI..
- Clear a hotspot
- Wipe cupboards and polish mirrors!
- Dishes - 1 load done, and I'll do another after lunch when I'll also wipe over the sink and the window etc

LG shop bought ones are fine, I saw some lovely ones in M&S yesterday as it happens. Nobody pays that much attention to invites anyway, like you say, as long as they're invited they're happy.
I've been sitting on my derrier for the last 15 minutes cause I'd finished what's on my list but didn't want to do anything else lol DD1 came round to do research on New Look app. she'd get 50% discount *cheap xmas pressies* YAY!

Quick pop in, just did a dash about clean and tidy (I love flying because it was all done within an hour) as Matthew and his Mam are on their way over, DP fixing her car today. Think we need to go up to North Shields to pick some stuff up so will be a nice drive out. Catch up with you all later, hope you all have a nice day xOne day I might be more organised...........

Just a quickie to say my HHC just finished, I did the breakfast dishes, had breakfast
then I:
cleared the stairs (bottom ones)
vacuumed stairs ( " " )
put my Indian herb hairwash on to brew in a jug
put a load of towels on to wash
had a hot honey and lemon drink
just gonna have a quick break then start again at 11IAAR/IAAMM/MFTMFAQ/IOA6BH0 -
Pop into Antler at the Royal Quays lil_me and get me a purse. I've been hankering after one for months but haven't braved driving through the Tyne Tunnel yet lol0

Morning all
Two loads of washing out on the line, including the throws from the living room.
Vacuumed through downstairs, and vacuumed the stairs.
My new cooker was delivered at 6.50 am:eek:
Wired in now and all working. Registered the guarantee online (saves a stamp).
Waiting for Asda shopping delivery due soon, then we will go out. Lovely day so far but supposed to be the last one so we want to make the most of it.0
