Sounds a little similar the software that comes with my Speedtouch modem. Gave me a good result too.

Delluver, Going off topic again but if you are quoting someone elses post and responding could you put your response underneath the quote, just makes topics easier to follow as you read the posts/context in the right order.

You'll be sent to usenet otherwise...;)
  • lol, maybe my brain works that way... find it easier to reply on top. On top's good :rotfl:- brain being of the female species :p

    See.
Which makes it easier for everyone to understand and follow the logic.
As comments appear in the correct order that people will read the topic, yourself included.
I'm suggesting it's easier to read the other way round.
I'm not disputing that you may find it easier to post replies on top.
    Delluver,

But maybe you are a usenet troll too?

I agree Woby_Tide I find it easier to have the quote at the top. :T

Ok, ok... didn't notice I was doing it to be honest with you. Used to reply emailing that way I guess... used to dealing with hundreds of customer service emails as a previous job.

Thank you all for your help. I'm happy that my broadband is at the correct speed. I don't like Telewest as their customer services stinks, and they're about a tenner a month more expensive than equivalent service providers, as far as I can see.
So, who should I change to the next time they mess up (probably a matter of hours, knowing Telewest)?
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Telewest stink. I used to use their blueyonder dial up. Cheap, but awful connection rate. You can never get hold of them for customer service.

Ok cust services do s**k a bit but they are quite in the running with
other companies and they are upgrading 512kbps to 2mbps very soon
for no extra charge its just a freebie, Im gonna phone em now
    to find out when.
  • Yeah, I got stung with a £20 one off payment for going from 1mbps to 2mbps when it came available with my ISP - bloody good ISP though.
