Right, I'll start again. Morning all, :hello: I've been up since 4.20 as I couldn't get on with the new splints am tempted to go back to using the wooden spatulars.
PODGIE : thank you thank you for rescuing the thread.:T
CATZNINE : Thanks for your help, I did try that but the 'Paste' word was not bold and wouldn't let me click on it, I'll practise on another page.:o
ESSEX GIRL : what a bad time your going through, hope today improves for you.
PEN PIN : Poor you, how long will you be in hosp for? hope it's not to long, is that when you start the next stage of treatment?
IVYLEAF : You know the TOR !! I live at the bottom of it, I once went up there on crutches with a broken leg in plaster, all the locals do an Easter egg roll down the Tor, the one with the most boiled egg left wins.By time I got to the top everyone had come down and were in the pub, I was going to do it for a bet but instead managed to raise money for our local hospice.
My plan for today is to sort out bedrooms as I didn't get round to it yesterday. Must cook the spinach and leeks we were given. I have lots of yellow stickered stewing steak enough to make a pie, a curry and a casserole.
Will pop out later and collect some turf from a fellow freecycler for DD's garden.

Morning lovely people
Beth - you made me LOL - I mean about the sticky not about being up so early - cross posted
hugs for Essexlad and Mr Poogie - I'm sure their missuses will pass it on. Hugs to everyone else too - if I forget to mention anyone it's only because I have a head like a seive esp for names (I even call my dds by the wrong names)
Busy day today - We are off in a bit to an Activity Morning at dd's new-in-september school - she will be doing some pe and technology and I will be learning all about e-safety and the PTA (insert yawn smiley here) - still could be worse - I could be doing the pe. After that we are off to richmond for some sort of summer fair (fayre?) - my dfriend is running the cake stall but will ifnish at about 2pm so we can have a mooch and a tea together. After that we need to go get some shopping for the Massive Baking Extravaganza which is planned for Sunday, pausing only to pick up dgs(3) who is helping to look after his Nana tonight, before rushing home in time for dr who. Dgs has an apron at my house that declares him to be "Nana's Little Helper" so the baking day is just an excuse really for him to look cute in it.
Have good days everyone and I hope all the poorlies have a better dayI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -

Oh no I can't remember how to get the thread, please please can some one do it. Please disregard this post, I'm so sorry I will never do it again:o
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: That put a smile on my face. Not been around much this week. I've not been well, and very busy - not a great combination
I've just posted on yesterday's thread. There was a mention that Gingham's not been around. She's taking a well-earned break from MSE. I'll pass on your good wishes next time I speak to her.
The last we saw of Aussie, she was making herself beautiful for a photoSuppose she didn't get long enough
I'm taking DD shopping today  then out for our choir's annual dinner. It's our 25th year, so it's a bit smarter than usual.
Need to tidy up (while DH has taken the small ones to swim club) and write a shopping list.
Edit - :kisses3: for TNG - where are you
Have a great day, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Good morning!
Cleaning off old playhouse so can drop it off for a friend's little girl later, will give a bit more space in the garden. Not sure what else I'm doing today, might have a poke around with the seedlings and try singing to the tom ones to see if they'll grow for me! Might just kill them off tho!
Lunch and dinner will be done on the bbq, so prob hm burgers and rolls, and perhaps pizza? Got some bananas, unusual cos they don't usually last more than an hour or so, so might wrap them in foil and bake for pud, yum!
Off out tonight with friends to dance the night away, should be lots of fun!
mumzyof2 - don't think my posts are all that interesting either, but I just assume that others are as nosy as me and like to see what other people do and how they spend their time! apologies to all those who aren't nosy!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Morning everyone!
Hugs to everyone seems as though everyone needs one at the moment.
On the baby front - No news is good news right?! Although I have changed my MSN message and facebook profile message to "Still Pregnant" as it is a lot easier than having to answer everyone who keeps asking lol! Feel worse for my Mum though as the relatives keep calling her as they figure she will have the info and I might be busy!
DD woke up at 5:45 today - wished I could blame DH for waking her when he left, but he left a good hour before today so I can't! She decided the best thing would be to sit on my bed and bounce me awake so that I could read to her... hmm! She is currently laying on the sofa as she is sleepy, told her she could have five minutes whilst I popped on here!
Well we are off to the market to buy some fruit, better go before all the good stuff is gone!
Pip0 -
mummysaver - make a slit down the banana, put in a chocolate finger or two and then wrap in foil on the bbq chocolate side up... yum yum yum got to go I have to make an ammendment to the shopping list!0

Good morning:D
Last couple of days have been fairly manic ( and very tiring:rolleyes: ) so I'm popping in while I have 10 minutes and the energy to post:D I've been buying plants from various wholesalers for our Church plant sale today. It takes an awful lot of lifting and carrying and I'm knackered today before I start;) The good thing is after the hours of setting it all up, most plants will be sold within 30 minutes in a mad scrum:rotfl: Especially the cuttings etc we've done from our own gardens.
catowen, good news about the before and after school care. Will you still be able to take on a baby should you be offered one? My, that sounds odd, but you know what I mean:rotfl: The way finances are being stretched everywhere I should imagine more women will have to get some work.
jet, good luck with the move!
Everyone else, if you're feeling poorly, anxious or sad take a (((((((hug)))))))
tru, when do we get more photos of the babies, pretty please;) Glad they're doing OK. How's Baz's skin coming along?
Well suppose I'd better get off round the Church Hall, sale starts at 11 and I've still masses of pricing to do.
Hope you have good days:DYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0
