You could use it as much as you like for up to four or five months I think, and then make some money back by selling it on eBay. Check out other listings on there for unregistered clubcards; they are popular!

The 'five month' recommendation is because Tesco issue Clubcard vouchers every quarter, and I am not sure that points earned on unregistered clubcards will carry across two quarters, I think some of the oldest points might be lost after that if not registered to an address.

The reason I am not sure on this point is that I haven't done it and don't recommend it!

Just think how much you will miss out on in terms of Tesco vouchers, extra points coupons and till-spits. Not to mention the opportunity to register that clubcard for the Wine Club, the baby Club (if you have a baby), the Food Club, the Healthy Living Club and the Fashion file (for clothing coupons!).

OMG you are missing out on a LOT of points and MOCS for no reason if you do this.

IMHO there is NO REASON not to use a clubcard if you are doing nothing more than paying with legit manufacturers' MOCs. None. There is nothing to hide if you are playing the game by Tesco's own rules. Is there another adult in the family you could register a second card with to spread your points a little?

MOCs use alone is simply not an issue IMHO, even major use of MOCS.

Different if you are combining H&B vouchers or using clothing coupons without buying clothes for instance - but with manufacturers' MOCs you are not doing anything against Tesco t&cs so nowt to worry about really IMHO.

Many thanks for the reply coupon-mad. I am learning so much from everyone on this site. I reckon I was just being over anxious about using too many coupons and getting into bother. You've put my mind at rest. Thanks again.

Ok, so I went to my local ASDA (Barnsley) today armed with my internet printed coupons. I picked the friendliest looking SA I could find at the tills. Got to the end of my £35 shop and said, "I have a few vouchers here." The SA looked at them and said, "I don't think I can take them cos they're internet ones, you see we used to take them no problems but we had a lady who used to pay for shopping with about 30 quids worth of vouchers at a time. Anyway I'll just ask for you....."

She buzzed the little bell and a young girl with a radio came along and said no. Then 30 seconds later the young girl came back and said, "I've just asked the manager and he says yes but just a few at a time."

The lovely lady on the till then scanned them and asked where I found them, so I told her I was a new member of this site and trying to be thrifty etc and she said she was going to join our merry band of couponeers.

I will look out for her next time I shop, that way I'll get through no probs.

Just thought I'd update you all.

    Kind regards

    Debt-free and Proud!
Went to my local Asda last night armed with £20 of MOC. Was doing a big shop as daughter's birthday party today. Found the young guy who last week he had only been working there a few weeks ago. He took them all no problem, a couple didn't want to scan and it took a few attempts but he got them all to scan, then he needed a supervisor to authorise something. Meanwhile bit of a queue had built up behind me, woman behind me wasn't pleased at having to wait but tough!!

The young guy on the till told me that he had served a woman earlier who had over £30 of MOC and he happily took the lot.

Will definitely be looking for him again

"As from Monday, Tesco will be charging for their carrier bags, and its a nationwide policy".

Obviously how true it is, I dont know, but prewarned is prearmed.(or stock up now)

Hi all. I work for tesco.
We are not charging for carrier bags. But from Mon 28th July bags will no longer be available at the end of the tills. instead you will have to provide ur own, buy the strong reuseable bags or ask a C.A for the crappy plastic bags.

I know its not a money off coupon etc, but as a bulk of us shop in Tesco stores up and down the country, I thought I would pass on what our local store told us.

The main Extra store in Mansfield has a big poster outside saying from 28 July they will not be providing bags on the checkout, but doesn't mention charging for them. It does say if you forget yours, you can ask the SA for some.
