I'm a newbie so please please firgive me as this whole forum has opened my eyes!

but I want to check something- and if this is true there will be a little bounce in my step for the rest of the day...

If I print off all the vouchers on the first post for things like Dove, Marie CLare, Heinz... and then go to Tesco and buy a shop full of tesco value products I still get the total of the vouchers off?

    Bewildered

    Diff tesco have diff policies.

Some let you use as many as you want if each coupon is different, some have diff methods..

I know its not a money off coupon etc, but as a bulk of us shop in Tesco stores up and down the country, I thought I would pass on what our local store told us.

"As from Monday, Tesco will be charging for their carrier bags, and its a nationwide policy".

Obviously how true it is, I dont know, but prewarned is prearmed.(or stock up now)

The tesco I work at removed the carrier bags from the hangers Tues night asking you to reuse you're own but will give you one bag at a time at no charge for the moment. Also the bag has to be full before we give out another one!

Strictly speaking they 'should' all follow the national policy so heatherbelle should be able to use one of each of her coupons. I wouldn't ask at the CS desk, personally, the till Supervisor will have a better idea than the CS desk staff will!

But there are a few renegade (or just plain ignorant) stores which say no or restrict you to 5 coupons or whatever. You can but try heatherbelle, just avoid any trout-faced middle-aged women - they are definitely all programmed to make you feel like a criminal when you produce a handful of coupons.

Choose a nice young lad or lass on a till - avoid self-scan - and choose a fairly big Tesco (not a Metro or Express even though the policy should be the same it's usually not!). Good luck & don't shake with fear, you are doing nothing wrong.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

WOW! Why did I not know all of this when I was a student? Hell... Why did I not know any of this before now!

I spend ages each week trying to cut cash off the shop and, although i will keep up with this anyway, I am seriously looking forward to the weekly shop on Monday now! What a change!

And thank you for the responses to what must be 'another newbie' post
I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!

I have always been an Asda devotee and have been using coupons there for about 6 weeks been giving £10's worth on a £35-£40 shop, each time they have been scrutinised, but all processed without me saying anything, have received a couple of comments from SA's though.
Yesterday went to Tesco for 1st time (have decided to save clubcard points for airmiles) gave £10 coupons for £28 shop SA didn't check them in the slightest and even typed in my Purina 75p coupon (which the barcode had been obliterated by baby sick) without me asking he even smiled as he scanned them, don't know if I was lucky with the SA or the whole store, cause I was ready for disapointment after the mixed sucess stories with Tesco.

Just back from my local tesco...had dutifully printed off a handful of the coupins on post 1 and tried handing them in ..... thought I'd picked a sweet looking young SA.....was I wrong!!!
she scanned in the first three and then saw I had more ... "we're only allowed 5 coupons at a time" giving me the evil eye!!!

I did try pointing out that the till was accepting them no problem, but no way!
Still got free boost smoothie and £6 off...so not bad for a start!

One question, am I allowed to print off a voucher more than once?i.e can I re-print some of those I'd used to day for next week?

It simple means you log in on that PC is set to user. Get the Pc owner to log in and either download it for you or change your log in from User to Administrator. Is simple enough to change, provided your talking about a standard home PC or laptop. Networks and community PC's are unlikely to let you change your log in to administrator.

    Yeah same!

Are we committing any criminal offence though by using them vouchers as we are?

    Thanks!

    Edit:

First Day - Saved £20 using coupons in Tesco's! Only spent £1 and have £21 worth of goods =) Got another £30 odd pound worth of vouchers!
:T But word of caution you will soon come to the store's attention when you bring the amount spent so low - you could get pulled up - its better to discreetly get say 25% off each shop. HTH

Tried two different size PC coupon and Uncut coupon in two different stores, one yesterday and one today and they would not work.
