Please please please can everyone check before posting coupons that are expired! I am very grateful to the people who post here and help me to keep the list current and up to date and I understand how addictive it can be to find coupons! but please check they actually are a) in Date and b) are currently available.
I seem to have noticed recently some people who I feel have the wrong sort of attitude towards coupons. Remember using coupons could be eneded at any time due to misuse et It is a privallage not a right!.. Many of us rely on using coupons as a way of dealing with little or no money please do not spoil it for us!!!!
Never NEVER NEVER use an out of date coupon - just because they take it it doesnt mean you've got one up on them. This will later be returned to the store and class as a loss to the store- too many losses will result in a closer examination of the coupon policy ( which has recently happened at the tesco store in Carlton Nottingham)
NEVE use a coupon from another store unless its a conditiional spend and the store states they accept it (like the morrisions news odf the world ones thats tescos accept) (Always check first please)
Always stick to one of each coupon unless buying the actual product in multiples and the make sure the number you use corresponds to the number of that item you buy.
Please Please Please do not split your shopping into lots if you must just go back another day!
REMEMBER THAT IF USING A COUPON LIKE THE DIALY MAIL ONE. THE STORE HAS TO HAVE SOLD THE SAME AMMOUNT OF THAT BOOK AS THE AMMOUNT OF COUPONS IT IS TRYING TO REDEEM. EG IF THEY GET A HUNDRED COUPONS THEN THEY NEED TO HAVE SOLD ONE HUNDRED OR MORE BOOK TO BE ABLE TO REDEEM THOSE COUPONS in other words using a coupon foir a comonly bought item is alot safer that using a coupon for an item that is rarely bought.
As I Previously said some of us here need to use coupons as we have very little income and debts that we are trying to pay off so we can live a normal life.
If people abuse this life line then they will make life even harder for all of us. struggling from day to day. remember there is a recession coming up which will make life even harder for all of use. coupons need to be used in accordance with store policy otherwise they will simply stop it.
I hope this hasnt come over a s a rude post as it is not my intention. I just want people to treat this with a little respect instead of seeing it as a scam or a way to get one up on the stores.
I have stopped using the Baxters soup coupon . Not sure if anyone else has noticed but when you print off the coupon the september date to redeem the coupon by looks like it has been doctored and painted in possibly over another date. Then in the retailers section it states they had to redeem it by May 2008. I agree with your post. Dont Abuse and hopefully lots more use.;)0 -

This one is for Alpro Soya. You need to fill in your details before you can print out the 40p coupon. The quality of the coupon is not great (a bit fuzzy) - although the barcode itself looks clear. I think the expiry date is different depending on when you print it out. When I printed mine just now the date on it is 11 May.

went to my local store and got told that they have now been informed at the begining of the week that they dont accept coupons unless you specifically buy the product.
the sa said that this came into force on monday - dont know if this has now become nationwide
im trying to get a contact from ho to clarify this position to get it upto date as it appears that the policy at the beg of this thread is quite a few years old0 -

I work on the checkouts at tesco and we stand by the policy stated at the beginning of the thread. This is not a nationwide thing, it is down to the decression of the store manager. Hope this helps!0 -
