Please find below the policy that my local supervisor in Tescos gave to me last week after it was reissued to all stores (or so she said) She'd been keeping an eye out for me coming in and gave me a copy to keep with the email I take in should I have any problems using coupons.
Hope this helps.

'Branded' coupons but not specific mention of 'Internet' coupons - Are 'SafeCoupons' internet ones 'Branded'??:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS!

Hi All!
So do Tesco still take other supermarket vouchers or not?
Because I'm fairly sure I managed to use some last week?......
TIA"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -

Tesco policy is NOT to accept other Supermarkets' coupons - nor the Daily Mail book token posted above by our old friend Quentin - but they will scan, annoyingly!
Please don't be tempted to randomly try other stores coupons in Tesco, RedBalloon, the fact they scan does not mean Tesco can get the money back. The long term repercussions at your store could mean they'll stop allowing coupons, it has happened before. Because they scan, some idiots put Book tokens/Somerfield/Sainburys magazine coupons, etc., thru the self scan and then the store often reacts (eventually, when they realise the loss) by clamping down on all coupons.
On the plus side, Tesco do accept other Supermarkets' Spend & Save vouchers though, as stated in the policy wording posted above. These are only the coupons that do not state a product or a range at all. For example, '£3 off a £30 spend at Sainsburys' is OK (but '£3 off a £30 spend on electricals'/clothing/specific ranges at Sainsburys, is not).
Tesco still don't get the money back on Spend & Saves but they accept them specifically to get customers instore who would otherwise be in another Supermarket. Basically it's worth the 10% discount to get new customers from their rivals. Tesco have had the policy for years BTW.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Tescos will not accept other supermarkets vouchers EXCEPT if it is a coupon that states you get money off a certain spend EG £5 off a £20 shop or £10 off a £50 shop that sort of thing and they are usually found in newspapers.Current Debt : FEB 2010 - £10,000, OCT 2010 - £5,000 :jCompetitions Won : ->:rotfl: HAHA Don't be silly Been Comping for 2 years! Hi All,
Did my shopping in Tescos earlier using all my coupons, saved a bit and then realised forgot something so popped into my local Asda.
When I tried to use the marie claire coupon, I was initially refused as it was apparently a copy which it wasn't and I pointed this out to the SA. I then tried to use some coupon net coupons the one with SAFE coupon written on them to be told that they only accept proper manufacturers coupons now and only for 10% of the bill.
I said that the coupon net ones were proper manufacturer coupons and still i was told no they weren't. "Nothing from the internet are proper coupons".
I then used my non internet ones, and they got stroppy again because I exceed the coupon limit (as only using small value ones) and I had to point out it wasn't 10% of the bill yet.
Won't be shopping there again, although thinking of emailing the manufacturers who's coupons I tried to use telling them that asda are refusing to accept them. Especially annoying when I was trying to buy a marie clare!!!!
Sorry for my rant, was sooooo upset at the time.
