I just used several on a spend just below £5 and ended up parting with just 2p
Thanks for your quick reply. I will try tonight.
Does anybody go to Tesco and shop using coupons, put the shopping in the car and go back in the store and use the 2nd lot of coupons for some more shopping, (using a different till) ? I live a distance away from Tesco, so I only go when near and thought I might do this.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Coupon-mad wrote: »Hiya all,
FWIW I think any post explaining this will be pulled - and rightly so IMHO. A post about a month ago saying how to get around Couponnet restrictions was pulled from MSE within the hour.
Also, if we were always able to print Couponnet ones as much as we did when there was the Tuborg & loveyourmouth glitch recently, then I think it would cause much more trouble than any short-term savings would be worth. Even those glitches will have been noticed by Couponnet of course (in spite of the different coupon codes on each one); it was obviously someone's error in setting those particular coupons up.
I reckon we should be happy with the odd glitch, but stick with the rules for the other coupons on the Couponnet site we know and love so that it stays online & available to each pc.
The only legit way round it is to use more than one pc AFAIK.
I just want to say that what Im totally new to couponing and whats happened with me is 100% legit.0 -

Just had to say thanks to all the tips in this thread and the money saved on MOC's at Tesco this week I went out and bought myself a new watch today. I am thrilled with it and it looks beautiful. I am thrilled. Thought I'd treat myself today with the money saved thanks to all your tips. Cheers everyone.

Could whoever E mailed Tesco and received the coupon policy let me know the address they sent it to please.
I have just come back from the Seacroft, Leeds store, fuming and feeling like a thief  When I gave the coupons, the S/A said I will have to ask if we can take these. Supervisor came and said no, can't take that many. I replied you did last week, can I talk to the manager please. Manager came, and said we only take 10% of shop. I quoted their policy and said I had received their e mail (I know I lied) and that they said they would take them as long as not more than one. She said "if you check it says at managers discretion and we don't". The reason I could use them last week was cos of new staff and they didn't know the policy.
I was so upset that on principle I said I don't want the shopping then, only the reduced bread (29p from £1.10 and reduced broccolli 20p from 40p).
My shopping was about £28 and the coupon amount was about £12, but they didn't add them up anyway, so had no idea if they were for a couple of quid.
Sorry I have gone on a bit, but I am mad and starving. I was going to buy some lovely chicken kievs for tea and chocolate cake for after (use part of coupon money to treat myself) :mad:Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

It's not fun is it, BLUEWKD, when you build yourself up to try some coupons and get knocked back. So sorry it happened to you today, I know it feels really awful to be singled out by Managers in front of other customers (it's happened to me quite a lot in the past). But unless the staff actually said anything rude or defamatory then I would leave it & try elsewhere.
A Store Manager can decide to restrict coupon-use and HO will back them if they have made this decision for good reason (maybe people had been using duplicates or Somerfield, Sainsburys or Asda ones or something that caused that store to lose money previously?).
I have 2 Tesco stores near me that don't take internet coupons and another that only allows one coupon altogether (and no magazine MOCs). So I just don't use those stores much, I have found a nice one that takes one of each of any NSS coupons.
Through trial and error you may hopefully find a store which is happier to accept your coupons (or maybe an Asda?). Once you've found a nice store your shopping experience will - usually - be much less fraught.
TBH you don't need your own email, just as good to copy & paste the one posted on this board by someone else. I carry an email with me but it wasn't obtained by me, it was posted by another person on MSE or PTS and I liked the wording, lol! Even with that email I wouldn't necessarily expect to convince a Store to change their policy, some stores won't budge.
I also feel that too many MSEers emailing HO about the coupon policy is risking it being looked into at a higher level. I don't like to rock the boat with HO so I have never emailed them about the bad treatment I have suffered along the couponing road. Glad I didn't email them now (even though I felt angry & embarrassed like you do now) as I have found a nice store who take lots of coupons and others that take some coupons.
One bad episode I did complain about but I made the complaint instore on a separate visit (once I had calmed down) and the Duty Manager apologised. I reckon only email HO as a last resort as they won't force the store to take coupons anyway.
Good luck with finding your nearest coupon-happy store.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for your sympathy coupon mad. Am feelling a bit better now I have got it off my chest, but Mr T is now going to be responsible for me having to have a drink (alcohol which was purchased with coupons last time I went to his shop) :rotfl:Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I am unable to print any couponnet vouchers as it says I am not an administrator. I'm using my husbands details who is set up as an administrator so it doesn't make sens.
Anyone any ideas - would be grateful for any advice.0 -

Your post really made me laugh. I know how you feel!!!! I have had similar experiences. Asda seems to be the worst at the moment. Supervisor in one store today told me we only take coupons up to 10% of your total bill. Had already spent £19 in their jewellery section but could not use coupon so just picked up some grapes for DD and tried to use a coupon to part pay with. SA called supervisor who told me only 10% off so I left them - wasn't worth the aggro. Am thinking of going to Mr T's tomorrow to buy some wine with MOC to console myself.
