tried the other day to use couponnet coups and they said thats it no more internet coupons at this store(st stephens in hull express tescos) so thats it for me, had 10 quids worth printed off aswell.
    ps spoke to the manager.

so, does this mean that there are different policies in different stores then? or is the coupon redemption at the managers discretion?
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Believe coupon redemption is at the store manager's discretion. As I understand it, if the manager thinks the use of coupons is being abused s/he can choose not to accept internet coupons. Am sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks for such a great thread.

The Asda Dove voucher expired on 26/07. So if you could edit next time the first post is updated, that would be great.

Also - the Boost smoothie is on special purchase at Tesco at £1.49, and the coupon goes through at £2.49 - BONUS!!!! (and the smoothie was very nice)

Has anyone managed to do a 'tidy' version of the complan voucher? Mine looks a bit fuzzy!

    TIA
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

Just checked my Tesco till receipt after reading coupon-mad's last post and find that my entries read just "coupon" so does that mean they did actually scan through the till because she told me they weren't scanning??????? Or perhaps she manually entered the bar codes (was too busy packing shopping to notice really).

If they manually enter the barcodes then the listing on your receipt just says 'coupon' as normal. Often they don't scan but will work when the barcode is typed in.

But with the Complan one, I have found it doesn't work at my Tesco even when they try to enter the barcode; the only way I could get one accepted would be if they would enter a £1 Non-scan coupon but my locals don't do this very often at all. When they have done so in the past for another coupon it showed on the receipt as 'NS coupon'.

So the Complan coupon is currently no use to me, never mind I have a few others! :rotfl:

Went into Asda yesterday and discovered, unlike tescos you can only scan so many through before the till rejects them.

Thankfully I shop at Tesco and use MOCs for 80% of my small shops and usually manage to save 40% of my big shops.

I don't know why but I seem to spend more when I have coupons!!!!!!!

Can somebody help. I want to use the self scan, but how does it work when you want to use coupons. From what I know, you scan and then put in how much you are paying, (please correct if wrong) but when do you scan the coupons and where do they go? Want to bypass the jelous s/a who haven't the bottle to ask where I get them from, so try to stop me using them or embarass me.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Glad you asked this BLUEWKD - I've been wondering the same thing.

At Tesco you scan your goods then press finish and pay then press the coupon button on screen and scan your coupon, it will then ask you to insert coupon (make sure it is fully in the slot) depending on the amount spent and amount of coupon you may hear "approval needed" don't worry someone will come and authorise it then you can hopefully repeat.
I just used several on a spend just below £5 and ended up parting with just 2p
