can anyone tell me where they got the tesco clothes coupons from? I seemed to have missed this, or not signed up to the right mailing.

    Thanks.

Went to my local Mr T's today. Young lad would only take Marie Clare and Kids one from newspaper. Said that sa's had got into a lot of trouble for acccepting printed coupons. I went to cs and asked what had changed from last week and was told that only coupons with safe coupon with (tick logo) displayed were accepted.

I managed to save £3.70 off an £18 shop (was still gutted as I had a fist full of printed coupons):p

I was also told this last week in the same store but this week managed to use all my coupons with no problems and got nearly £20 off a £95 shop. I would just say try them all again next week and see how you get on.

Just come back from Tesco with my fistful of vouchers still intact.

Yesterday and Friday I successfully used 3 or 4 vouchers with no questions asked, and without buying any of the products - in one case I'd even got multiples of the same voucher.

Today, the teenage lad on the checkout said he'd have to check with the supervisor as he said I'd not bought any of the items which the vouchers referred to.

I gave him the names & descriptions of the 2 supervisors from Friday that had confirmed that it was ok to use the vouchers without buying the goods, but he insisted.

When the supervisor arrived she told me that it was store policy to always insist that the customer buy the item referred to on the voucher. I gave her the names/descriptions of her fellow supervisors but she held firm.

I said "never mind then, although it is a bit confusing" and left it at that.

I'm learning to handle the disappointment on the occasions when I'm refused, as it's more than made up for by the fuzzy glow I get when the vouchers are accepted !

I've also figured out that it's not worth making a fuss as this will only draw attention, and risks the store clamping down on ALL vouchers, which would obviously not be a good thing.

Hey ho, some you win, some you lose...

They are wrong. If you want to be able to get them to accept them then just email customer services and they'll give you a reply to take to customer services.

Their policy changes so often that sometimes they're the last to know. However I would say using multiples of the same voucher unless you buy the product isn't allowed, this is specified in all policies and I wouldn't even risk it lol. Lucky you.

What they do need to clamp down on is people photocopying vouchers because that's what will affect us all eventually.

That warm fuzzy feeling is brilliant isn't it! Well done.

Spotted this on the 'try me free' thread, thanks to Sweets2

25p off coupon for Castello cheese from their website, click on '25p off' on the bottom right of front page.

    www.castellocheese.co.uk

    Expires 31/12/08

Think there was a coupon net version a while ago, but this one you can reprint as many as you like. Apologies if this has been posted already, but it didn't come up as a search and I didn't see it in the first post. Thanks to R4pture for keeping this thread updated.

Used it in Tescos today, scans perfectly. Great find!
