    Another one not seeing the problem. Housing is very local, and your house looks to be worth 4-5% more now than what you paid for it (140 vs 134) Suggests a nice, stable area.

    If you look at the Stiller indices in US, markets that didn't go up much are now not going down much. Can't see the UK being much different

    Rough calculations - you should now have outstanding balance of 110,000 (based on 90% LTV repayment mortgage at 25 years) so a current LTV of under 80%. Not great, but OK.

    Only suggestion would be to start aggressively overpaying the mortgage with money that is spare after ISA's/ pension investments. Quicker you go mortgage free, quicker you won't give a rat's !!!! if the house is worth 50,000 or 250,000
