You've got it in one passion. I believe that you can never really minimise the risk too much. I have read that a high sun factor should be worn in our autumn and spring months, but it is always possible to find research to suit the point you want to make. I also have to wear a hat to keep it off my face when walking around.
Now at my age I just dont look cool in a baseball cap:eek:  In fact I look like I have just been released from somewhere 'special'

What I can get away with though, and get lots of compliments and admiring glances, is a sun visor. ;);)

I picked up the first one in a golf shop, (a white one). Then if found some denim ones in Ethel Austin, also have pink etc. I wear a pink ribbon pin on them, to brigten them up.

Despite having had the cancer (in my nose) I have amazingly good clear skin and look younger than my years. Not bragging, just making a point that I have also benefited from staying out the sun. My skin is good because I dont spend time in the sun, very few wrinkles.

Except when as you say we are shopping etc. I would use the same high factor when in the shade as well. Can never be too careful. I never thought I would ever get skin cancer I thought only sun lovers got it. I was wrong

Ref. The sun visor I have spotted quite a few on Ebay going very cheap and very low postage. Some "designer" ones as well!!

I bought some prescription sunglasses at Boots during a triple points campaign. I paid £79 and was given a measly 79 points - you don't get triple points in the Opticians and you don't get 4 points to the £ either. Is this right?

Couldn't you pay for the items and at the end when the gwp has been added but before you pay say "Could I open this and use the coupon as I won't be back again soon enough to use it?" the gwp is yours then so entitled to open it. Worth a try I'm sure the No 7 ladies know we're not all loaded.
iM such a chicken,id rather just hand a voucher other rather than faff about:o I tend to get rather flustered:o
    Thanks everyone x
Ill be using vouchers from acm etc so couldnt get away with 'forgetting' my card:o

MSE is saving me loads of money, and I am spending alot as well lol. Yesterday I went for my free spray tan from the Glamour mag. Then today I went to M & S for 6 of these £10 meal deals. It was posted on another site that if you brought 6 the till takes of 25% of the cost of the wine, and it did! Got over £95 worth for £52 so well pleased. 6 bottles of claret as well. Cheers. Then went to Boots, got a Stages toothbrush £1.59, with a free oral b mouthwash worth £3.19 with coupon from mailing, 50p off, and 100 points both from PC. Well happy with my morning.

Thats right bargainhunter, not really fair is it.

Just one point to the ££ Especially mean, as they can give out 200pts for a £5 item from the ACM. Yet you can spend all that money on glasses and get such a small number of pts.

I think they will accept double pts coupons, but it really does not make that much difference. It hardly encourages us to get our glasses there, just to use our free eye test voucher, and go somewhere else for our glasses.:p :p

The facial sun protection I bought was factor 25. The factor 50 one was £10.50 (if I remember correctly). I am going to check later about the 241.

ah then that might be why - as can't find the f25 online - maybe it's not in the offer - surely the SA would have said that you'd missed it

I only want something light......so can I just check that it goes on last?

Hi pollsdolls, I don't know any of you personally and I'm not taking sides but I think this post should have been pm'd rather than posted on here. You say can we move on? I doubt it somehow after this:confused:

You are quite right :T , perhaps you should also tell broclo the same. I have deleted my posts.
