    Hi Msmoo,
I'm sure other posters have said they've removed the voucher from their GWP before taking it to the till and then used it when paying for it. May be worth considering as would save you a stamp!
Btw I checked mine and my sister's cards but neither of us had the offer on the Boots provitamin shampoo I'm afraid  I'll check my Mum's card when she's back from holiday though, just in case she's got any I can send you.
    Hi, me being cheeky again:o
Was wondering if anyone had a spare 250 points cosmetics coupon from the no 7 gwp? If oh gets paid enough, i want to get some mascara and other bits and a gwp but as i cant afford/am too tight;) to buy no 7 if there's no promotion on I wont be buying No 7 again for a while, therefore i wouldnt be able to use my no 7 points coupon :( So wondering if anyone could post me one out of theirs so i can use it on the mascara and when i get my gwp ill take the coupon in it out and send it back to them if that makes any sense:o
Would be most grateful :) Thanks x
P.s Id be going shopping on the 28th x

I meant to add about taking the voucher out, i didnt really want to do that as the no 7 lady watches me like a hawk and when the last gwp was on she actually followed me around the store until i paid:eek:

..if someone clears the shelves of something just because it's cheap and don't really want it that much, well, that's greed whether they're a lurker or have 1000 posts.

    Couldn't agree more.

Just been looking at the Activity Superstore online, and unless I've missed a page (quite likely lol) there only seems to be the 15 listed below that apply to instore:

The Perfect Gift RHS Gardens - £129
The Perfect Gift... Theatre Break for Two - £89
The Perfect Gift... Paintballing For Two - £30
The Perfect Gift Mind and Body Balance - £145
Horse Racing for Two - £185
    Children's Photo Plan - £39
The Perfect Gift For A Relaxing Time - £99
The Perfect Gift... Luxury Spa - £199
The Perfect Gift... Pamper Treat - £49
The Perfect Gift... Hot Air Balloon Flight - £179
    Memories Gift Experience - £45
Thrill Seeker Gift Experience - £65
The Perfect Gift... Rally Rush - £99
Summer Concert Experience for Two - £92
    Paintball for Four - £52

Unless the stores I visit have been spreading the same boxed experiences about and making it look like there are more lol, can anyone that's visiting one of the larger stores do a quick reccie for me please?

Obviously I don't expect you to read all of the boxes, or make any lists :D but if anyone sees the displays can they do a quick mental check that there are only 15 on the shelves?

I wouldn't mind using some points up on something that creates a few more memories than a bog standard bottle of aftershave or perfume ;) so any help would be much appreciated.

Stay pale and beautiful, stay pale and safe.:A

pollsdolls, I was thinking about you when I was shopping recently (and the other lady that was having chemotherapy and had to pass the Trafford Centre to get to the hospital - anyone know if she's ok btw?) and thought about how I'd never be affected as, like you, I don't sit in the sun either.

    Then came the reality check..

I'm obviously in the sun when I'm shopping, taking the dog for a walk, or having a drink in the pub gardens etc, and I know that those rays can filter through most things, but I've rarely used a sun screen in my life :o

What would you recommend for someone that sits in the shade most of the time? The highest factor in every case?

Morning Passion. I see it's your turn to drink from the poisoned chalice today.

OH is getting his eyes tested today so I will see how many experiences I can find in store. If I email you to let you know, will that make me a lurker??

***No, just someone that emails ;)

But as you've mentioned the eye tests and OH, can you let me know how you get on pls? These offers for the prescription sunglasses are confusing me :o and although I'll be waiting before I purchase any for myself (for obvious reasons ;)) it's time my oh got some.

    tia ;)

***ETA - and very informative emails too :)

Couldn't you pay for the items and at the end when the gwp has been added but before you pay say "Could I open this and use the coupon as I won't be back again soon enough to use it?" the gwp is yours then so entitled to open it. Worth a try I'm sure the No 7 ladies know we're not all loaded.

How terrible  There really is no need to stalk a customer until they pay!!! My No 7 counter are v strict about what vouchers they will accept (usually none lol) especially when there's a GWP or 3 for 2, but I am now grateful that at least they don't follow me around!!
Good luck getting a voucher hun- I think I'm planning on waiting to see if any better offers/ vouchers come up before I get the GWP but if I change my mind I'll let you know!

msmoo, could you forget your AC, ask for the receipt to be validated then have the points added later when you have got the voucher out?

You've got it in one passion. I believe that you can never really minimise the risk too much. I have read that a high sun factor should be worn in our autumn and spring months, but it is always possible to find research to suit the point you want to make. I also have to wear a hat to keep it off my face when walking around.
Now at my age I just dont look cool in a baseball cap:eek:  In fact I look like I have just been released from somewhere 'special'

What I can get away with though, and get lots of compliments and admiring glances, is a sun visor. ;);)

I picked up the first one in a golf shop, (a white one). Then if found some denim ones in Ethel Austin, also have pink etc. I wear a pink ribbon pin on them, to brigten them up.

Despite having had the cancer (in my nose) I have amazingly good clear skin and look younger than my years. Not bragging, just making a point that I have also benefited from staying out the sun. My skin is good because I dont spend time in the sun, very few wrinkles.

Except when as you say we are shopping etc. I would use the same high factor when in the shade as well. Can never be too careful. I never thought I would ever get skin cancer I thought only sun lovers got it. I was wrong
