Lol a few years ago before I had my DS I got told by a mate to look at a listing on ebay. There on a listing were vouchers, one which had my name on, that had been listed. As the only C**** B***** I knew for 100% sure that they were the ones I'd given away (on another forum) the week before!

How rude!! Some people really do have a nerve don't they!

I found all the info on the scar serum versus the p & p serum from the old post and list the ingredients of both for you to judge for yourself. The main difference is the lack of tocopherol in the scar serum, listed as ingredient no 24 on the p & p serum(dont know if the list of ingredients is in % terms, if it is then its way down the list!)

Only 1 from THE P & P is NOT in scar serum-tocopherol. There are some other ingredients in the scar serum lower down the list(I cant find the box right now to post them) but the top ones are identical!!!!!
It says on the box"By simply massaging it in every day for three months, we've found it noticeably softens, smoothes and conditions skin. So, scars appear lighter and more even in tone and the profile of the skin appears more even"
It also says to use it on blemishs or stretchmarks.

    K.

What are you all ? Stars !

Thanks so much for all the information.

I will definatley be getting the Expert Scar Serum and will let you know what I think. I'm a relative newbie, but am just so loving the Boots threads. They are so helpful, although I must admit to be totally addicted to Boots now and spends loads more in there. Thanks again

Tbh minx, if it was to put food on the table, I'd still offer any offers I had.

But I'd prefer to know if my name was being posted on eBay beforehand (it's rare and easily identifiable btw) and if that was the case, I'd have to decline). Anything else people are more than welcome to. (Don't all PM at once :rotfl: )

Ooooh, any more rants anyone ? ;)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Hi, Ladies. Sorry about the problems people have been having - I have also been disappointed by the etiquette of some folks on here ( I posted out one of the mini photo albums to someone, and haven't had any acknowledgment or thanks, which I was a bit upset by, by there you go - like Passion8 said, perhaps I'll just learn from this, but it left a nasty taste in my mouth - I think we all like to help people but we also like to be appreciated)

Just wondered what you lovely ladies had been buying this week since the offers changed? The meditteranean GWP looks lovely - good luck to those of you with the half price PC med vouchers, 2 body butters (typed that originally as"body betters" - now that would be a baragin!LOL!) and a GWP for £5 is my kind of bargain!I think I'll have to read back to see what is a good combination for the No7 GWP - do we know if the suncare counts toward this or is it just skincare/make-up?

Shouldn't be thinking about spending any money as I've just had to take a badly behaved car into the garage to hopefully get sorted (if only I could do that for my DSs!), no idea what the bill for that will be. So I've got a quiet afternoon at home waiting for the phone call from the mechanic, aaargh!

Perhaps I'll have a cup of tea and read back over pervious posts from Weds to see what's what.

Sorry for long post and no glitches - was planning to go shopping today but my car had other ideas!

I've been nosing my way into this nice, friendly thread recently after being a shy lurker for a while; I'm gobsmacked to hear of people being so rude!

Hope you have a lovely break Sarah.

Thanks for all the info posted on the scar serum - I have some expert vouchers - may give some a try on my baby-stretch-marks - but I suspect there's nothing to be done with them after 9 years!

OMFG how can they sleep at night??

The last few years on the Internet has opened my eyes to the world - and not always in a good way

No boots for me this week, got a stinking cold and Boots is always too hot for me at the best of times so by the time I'd had a good look round I'd be a horrid soggy mess :rotfl: teamed with my randomly dripping red nose would not be the impression I like to give at the tills.

Gagging to get my hands on a No7 GWP tho, going to get the hand saviour as my 1st sample is all gone (fab sign for me as I rarely get to the bottom of stuff :o )

I can't remember if anyone has posted this, but you can combine ACM points for the No7 bathing stuff if you get more than one coupon (probably only if they are in different amounts). I got one for 300 on No7 bathing, and one for 350. The barcodes were different by one number, and they both worked! I also put in 200 points from the mag for no7 suncare, and a £5 off no7 PC voucher. I tried to use the 250 points from the free gift I was getting, but that said cosmetics and I guess nothing I had qualified.

    I got:
    2 X No7 Lip and eye Screen BOGOF - £5.75
    2X No7 Glossy Locks Hair spritz BOGOF - £5.75
    1 No7 hand savior - £10.50

I paid £17 after coupons and got 850 points back and a No7 gwp.

I also went to the Clarins counter and said I saw an ad in the paper for free samples. The SA looked me up and down like she was sizing up how likely I would be to buy her stuff and was a little stiff to me, but I got my three samples -- cleanser, toner and moisturizer. She was probably right that I won't start using Clarins, but she was dead wrong if she didn't think I spend loads of money on pampering products, lol!

I also bought a digital camera for £79.99, paid with points. My husband was thrilled! Maybe he won't think all this Bootsing is so crazy anymore, lol.

Also, has anyone got the Model.Me stuff to work with two BOGOF coupons -- the ACM and the one from the paper, making the purchase free?
