Hello everyone!
Had such a busy week that I haven't been able to keep up with the dailies. But it sounds like everyone is busy and enjoying the good weather (it's always hot here so I wait for our hols to enjoy the rain!)
So excited for you, Pippad, I remember it so well. :j My little lad will be 5 on Monday, I can't believe it, well, that and the fact that I'm willingly having 20 5 year olds over for a party.
Must dash as DS has a birthday party this afternoon and then another tomorrow. It seems that May is a popular month to be born :rotfl:

Morning all :hello:
I've had a reasonably busy morning in the hope that if I get everything done I can sit in the garden this afternoon. So 2 loads of washing on the line, bread made, tea prepped, beds stripped and remade, garden watered and compost and womery contents turned and sorted.:D
Off to the Post Office now to send the last of this batch of ebay parcels. Over £300 raised for the holiday fund now. :j And loads more stuff to go on next week.
tea will be chicken chow mein and fried rice (HM) and hopefully we can eat outside again tonight as it keeps the kitchen clean.

Hello again!
We plucked up courage to take the car to the local shops, and hooray, found a place to park it when we got back!:j
Just having a cuppa now.
Forgot to say when I posted before - AussieLass - glad you had such a lovely time with DGS! And i remember someone else had a lovely day looking after their 10mo DGS - so sorry I just can't think who it was, maybe Redruby? Anyway I'm glad it all went well!:p0 -
Afternoon all!
Thanks for the wishes, but guess what... the contractions have gone and stopped! I thought lets try and get things moving and so took DD for a long walk round the shops, to the park and all I managed to do was spend £5!
I did however do something that is totally stupid to try and counteract this supposedly positive behaviour and have put a full face of make up on as it should be sods law that as soon as I do this the baby will arrive!
Positively - Yes May is popular my birthday was last Friday, my Mums last Thursday, my friends last Saturday, another friends this Sunday and one of the girls who was one of my bridesmaids today! Now what was nine months ago and could that count for all these births?!
Right I am off to make some hash browns for the freezer (not quite sure how they will turn out!) and maybe some chips or wedges for lunch (wheres that curry sauce?)!
Bye for now!0 -
Afternoon all,
No sun to-day so far, just a fine haze which is good for the garden I suppose, but not what I want to be out in...hoping that it will clear later.
OH went for the paper and arrived home with a shoulder of lamb...in oven at present as I like to start it off very high for 15 minutes and then reduce to 150c until cooked...will be nice with some roast veggies and baked potatoes...must check if any of last years apples are fit for baking and have them with ice-cream for pudding.
Hugs to Smoky, Mrs Mix, PenPin, Anniestar, Betheebee and anyone else in need or want
Pippad....good luck

Afternoon all
Nights are all done, have just got up. It's still glorious here, if it's still good tomorrow might go to the beach for a bit.
Not much chance to read the thread today. SMOKEY glad you have a good GP. HUgs to you and to anyone else who wants one.
DS has gone to school today in red, black and yellow as they are having a Spainish day. It really does stretch my imagination and resourcefulness sometimes!
No idea what's for dinner, think OH is cooking. I'll probably just have breakfast again!
Catch you later

Hello all !
All behind myself today. Was going to Focus with OH to get some paint today but he didn't fancy the 20 miles there and back for a tin of paint in the heat so we got some from in town.........£9.50 for tin of Dulux and that'll do all I want.
Already done the kitchen cupboards -nice sore of sage green - just the free standing larder cupboard to do..........that'll wait till tomorrow now.
Looks a lot brighter than the colour wash that was on them that had gone so dull and sad looking.
Hope you're having a good day and enjoying the sun -too hot for me to be out in it
Hugs to all who need them (((((((((((:o )))))))))))Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !
