    Hi Everyone,

I was up early this morning too (With contractions coming one every 12 mins or so), but didn't want to come on the board until after at least some of you were up so I could read what you were all up to! I didn't realise how dependant I have become on knowing what you are all doing!

    Pip

Wow, how exciting, are we going to have another OS baby by the end of the day ? Good luck, hope everything goes well xx

    Morning all,

Mrs Mix, I hope you get some news about the hospice. xx
Smoky, Thinking of you…your GP sounds great.
Crazychick, sorry to hear about the car.
Chalky, lovely to hear from you, have a safe journey home.
    Essex-girl, I hope oh’s scan goes well.
Tru, congratulations on your new babies! Isn’t Baz a clever girl! I hope the little one is ok.
    Pippad, Good luck!

I have a quiet day planned pottering around the house and doing a bit of cleaning before the weekend.

I need to go to the post office later to return an ebay item I bought that was packaged so badly that half of it was smashed to pieces. I am so cross that I have to do this at my own expense (it’s a heavy item and will cost a fair bit to send) when it was the sellers incompetence that caused the problem in the first place. Oh well, if I want my money back I’ll have to return it to them.

If the weather forecast is right we should have rain later so I think I’ll do some baking for the lunches next week and maybe make some bread for the freezer. Tea tonight will be a chicken and broccoli pasta bake.

Right better go and get ds2 sorted for school.

I hope you all have a good day.

Another nice sunny day here again. DD (17) wanted to go to the coast yesterday but I couldnt afford to go so we had a picnic at the local park next to the river with the ducks, there were some ducklings but didnt see them yesterday

BM was on over night so have a nice fresh loaf for today, OH has already had some for his lunchbox.

Not much planned today. Off to get a :coffee: as i haven't had chance yet.

Told OH it will be spicy homemade wedges and *something* for tea tonight but not quite sure what the *something* will be.

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: to all in need.

    Hello everybody,

Had a lovely Ninny day here. After m'tea we walked down to the jetty and threw rocks in and then we went for a nature walk. Picked up shells, flowers & bits and pieces. Came home and made a lovely display of them. :D He ate a huge lunch. The secret is to say it's all from Poppa's garden and he asks for more veggies. ;)

We are having our pictures taken tomorrow morning with him. Some portrait deal that XDIL has signed up for. Our pictures are free so that's good. ;) DD coming to stay tomorrow night as well & should be here in the arv sometime. I best go and cook some tea. Fish. Made some SC boiled rice as well. I'll have it with tinned peaches.

Smoky That's great that you have such an understanding GP. It's good that you are off another month too. It will make a big difference I'm sure.
Tru How sweet. Which one takes after you? :D
Beth I hope your arms aren't too sore today.
    MrsMix

Hope you all have a lovely day. <hugs> to those that need them. Byeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Been very busy doing not a lot these last few days, so nothing much to report!!
Do have someone coming around this morning regarding childminding their children before and after school, so fingers crossed they like me, this would really help me big time with my finances, which are right at the bare bones at the moment and have been getting me down - so im hoping this will work out for us!

One LO here today, so he will keep me busy - also need to make some leek and potato soup for lunch, and get the BM on with pizza dough for tonights dinner. Not going to put the WM on until tonight - its raining here at the mo, and dont want to be drying things on the radiators, especially as tomorrow is meant to be lovely!

OK, enough drivel from me - hope everyone has a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Morning all,

Glad it's Friday. I feel tired so I'm booking a lie-in tomorrow. It's my own fault though. Channel 5 have House followed by Grey's Anatomy on Thursday nights and it means I don't get to bed until after 11, which is late for me mid-week.

    tru Congrats on the piggie.!
pippad keep us posted on those contractions!
Hester eeeeewwwww at the sticky keyboard. _pale_ What was the impromptu talk about?
Smoky your GP sounds very good. Glad you have more time off. You are doing so well. (((hugs))) to you and your children.
JackieO I'll bet that first G&T is the best you have ever tasted. :D

W**k soon and then home to get the uniforms washed and hopefully dried on the line as our weather is supposed to brighten as the day goes on.

Had a mad hour of chopping, stewing, cooking, freezing, etc last night. So I'm having stewed plums with my porridge today and a caramel ricotta pudding after dinner tonight. I have loads of blanched broccoli in the freezer as well as loads of chopped peppers and onions so won't have to cry for a wee while now. :j

    Have a fantastic Friday. xx

hope the hay fever suffers aren't getting it too bad. my DD finally went to the drs this year as shes got her exams coming up so didnt want to be sniffing and sneezing through those, the stuff he gave her seems to be helping so far (i cant believe i've been paying for years when she could have had prescriptions:mad: )

Busy in the garden ysterday, planted out loads of stuff and have now run out of compost (the stuff in the bin isnt ready yet. had a lazy night last night watched ER and did some knitting;) .

got to sort my shopping list out today and fill in the kids tramploine competition entry forms for them to take saturday.

Hope everyone has something nice in their day

Hey - what's happened since I posted; everything seems exciting!

Good luck PIPPAd - keep us as informed as you can! Another thread baby almost here!

JACKIE0 - I was feeling a bit, well, 'can't be a**ed' and then I read your post and now I can be 'a**ed'! So thanks for the motivation! Have a great day.

DONNY-GAL - yes, the sighs, oh those b****y sighs!

HESTER - sticky keyboard! You know what we're all thinking, don't you?

Well, I'd better go and clear up the breakfast things. I'm all behind now because DH is having car problems - brake caliper, he thinks. Luckily our mechanic is brillliant and told him to take the car straight in for him to have a look. I'm on standby now in case I have to pick him up which puts paid to going food shopping as early as I had planned. Still, hopefully, if it needs fixing he can do it today.

The sun is trying to come out but has not succeeded so far although it's very warm; I think the promise is there! I shall still put some washing on the line. It rained a little in the night but I didn't mind that!

    Anyway, see you all later.
