Hiya!
I think RedMadCurls (love the moniker) has it right - you have to make a routine of claiming. Whether its every day, or every week, up to you. Also needing to be in the routine is where you put the receipts in the meantime - I'd carry an envelope around with me, or use a particular cubbyhole in a purse/wallet.
Right. Off now - coffee, phone call, then.... ta-da, the garden. think I'd rather be walking dogs (except for the coffee).2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hiya!
I think RedMadCurls (love the moniker)
Thanks, have to confess it is the name I call my niece - she looks like a red Shirley Temple - stunning red mad curls - and green eyes!!!! Some girls have all the luck! She hated me calling her that name in front of friends when she was little, now at the mature age of nine she thinks 'MC' is a cool name!
Will soon detatch myslef from this laptop and do something - kitchen is horrible but garden more fun!

There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!

Hi all
Snuck on after dinner too just to update my thread - then off to watch a DVD with OH and a glass of very nice chardonnay
Have had a very doggy day - walked ours first then went to see a friend who needed some help with one of hers. Had a nice couple of hours with them then drove out to the country (beautiful drive - lovely day) to see a paying client with a dog who needed some remedial training. Spent a couple of hours with them and made some progress with the dog - then came away with £56 (plus travel expenses) so a good day in all. Even better have spent nothing except budgeted diesel so have come out of the weekend in profit at least!
Will update my challenges etc. tomorrow and check in with everyone. Now am going to put my feet up with my wine!
Cheers all. (nearest I can get to clinking wine glasses!)0 -
cheers hun!! Glad you had a successful day!
Enjoy that wine and the DVDSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Back to real work today. But DFW things to do at some point:
- Take dollars to PO and get "real" money back
- Catch up with spreadsheets for challenges and update sig.
- Check bank account and CC minimum payment days so can make sure my snowball is kept up to date
- Do some leaflets for my upcoming workshops
- Investigate cheap ways to design and print a general publicity leaflet
Have a good day everyone.0 -
