Especially for you Karmacat I have put it back on!

I am now a shattered and sore Dragon as I have not only emptied the bins but I have swept the bathroom floor (with a dustpan and brush!), cleaned the loo, sink and bath AND washed the floor (on hands and knees again because I cannot stand and use a mop!)

As I suspected tried to cover too much - as well as do a day's work and run an evening dog training! But I have got my expenses into the system so might even get them paid before the end of the month!

So how did I do?

• Take dollars to PO and get "real" money back Didn't manage this - PO was closed when I left work. Will try tomorrow.
• Catch up with spreadsheets for challenges and update sig. Am going to do this before bed DONE
• Check bank account and CC minimum payment days so can make sure my snowball is kept up to date and this DONE
  
• Do some leaflets for my upcoming workshops Nope - not a chance! Another day.
• Investigate cheap ways to design and print a general publicity leaflet - checked out Vistaprint. Does anyone have any other ideas on this? Really want something like a narrow flyer or a postcard that I can hand out at events and at the club. But it has to be cheap! half done

I used vistaprint for almost all my business stuff - they never let me down and were more than reasonable, simply because they have so many offers on!

Also, you can go through quidco or pigsback to get a bit extra for your money!!

I would def recommend them - they are very good quality too!

Thanks hypno will go with them then. Got some cards from them before which were great. They have an everything free offer on at the moment but it is only for today and I need to think a bit more carefully about these. But as you say they have offers all the time!

Just had a false alarm thinking my mbna min payment was going up to £320! Thankfully not!

OH is off work with chest infection today so going in late myself. Dog walker is on holiday this week so tbh am glad she is at home as it was going to be a long day for them. Yesterday I popped back for lunch but today have meetings back to back until 4pm. Still on the plus side we are saving £30 this week on the dog walker! Come to think of it I haven't added that to my £10 a day challenge! Off to do that now.

It sounds as though you are getting there mizmir! sorry to hear bout OH being under the weather DrDragon still is but he has stuff to do so he struggled into work.

Problem is work is part of OH's health issue - she is under huge stress due to management bullying (manager refused mediation so it is now with HR and the union ). She sees the doctor tomorrow about the impact on her health. TBH I hope they sign her off for a few weeks....

But am feeling much more in control on the finance front. I know what we need to do - just need to stamina to do it and the patience not to jump ship too soon re. the day job! Might get tricky that. My potential business partner is getting more and more enquiries since we launched a web site and we now have a major partnership arrangement which has resulted in some significant free advertising. As that starts to kick in over the summer I suspect more and more work is going to roll in - the question will be at what point it is viable for me to jump into this full time. I suspect the sensible response to that unfortunately is not before I am debt free..... so I want to achieve that much sooner than September next year!
