I plan backwards all the time.......dream house and all that and it works for me.

Did you manage to withdraw from Vernons - I think I will need to ring customer services this evening.

Thanks hypno. I have goals (like going FT dog training) but I have been planning forward towards them rather than backwards from them. So if I want to be dog training in 4 years, where do I need to be in 3.5, 3, 2.5 etc. Haven't been thinking that way - have been thinking - will do this then that then that - and hoping the two will join up! Need to be more systematic methinks!

Anyway should be £42+ up on a matched bet by the early hours - on the US Open (no rule differences). Haven't tried to withdraw from Vernons yet - not had time. Let us know how you get on if you try.

Hi Mizmir..plans sound good and with 4 teams you should be able to get through them all no doubt.

Thanks taxi - only two projects have allocated staff on them (2.5 people) - the others are assigned to groups of people who always have other things that are higher priority! :rolleyes: But you are right - I need to get a grip on the oversight rather than delivery of them all. Good point.

That's after all what they are paid to do and you have to oversee them etc....(don't think I've worded that right)...perhaps one way of looking at it is make a list using your staffs different strengths to maximise the effectiveness ..if that makes sense...there again what do I know...LOL

Yeah - they are pretty good really - some very good - just all too busy! And I am also too busy so not keeping track of all the things that need to be done. So I think I need to focus on that first!
