The squares thing is a bit addictive though isn't it!! And the way I see it is that if it acts as a motivator for even just a month......that is a month that we have been positive about paying off our debt!
And if we need to come up with another idea in October, then I am sure we can do so :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Well I managed to do most of yesterday's list except cleaning lounge and hall - oh and the lawn! But it was so nice to come down this morning to a clean kitchen and sparkling dishes waiting in the dishwasher. Flylady would be proud! Onwards and upwards.
Shiny new month today brings with it renewed enthusiasm. Summer is officially over in mizland - back to "school" and therefore back to routines. Good start to September on my unofficial "colour a square a day" challenge - a couple of standard payments gone out to the tune of £577.85 - so I have 11 days to colour in already and that gives me a little time to make money for the overpayments!
Work today and training later so not much else on the list today:- [strike]Update challenges[/strike] DONE - good start
- [strike]Check online banking[/strike] DONE - quite a lot gone out so looks like positive balance beginning this month was illusory! Still a little better than last month - but not solid enough for me to change my o/d amount in my snowball.
- [strike]Update snowball[/strike] DONE - and on track.
- Check for bonus at SB
- Check for matches at CB
- Clear lounge table

Morning!! I hope that the "normality" of work is not too tedious.......think of the money :cool:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

No - actually looking forward to it - have a couple of weeks to get everything sorted before the chaos kicks in so will try to make the most of that to get my routines back in place. (Not doing brilliantly so far - had planned to leave at 7.45 but am still not dressed!)
