Good work then..we all seem to keep coming on here. Too addictive!

yes indeed. Just reviewed my action plans put together at the beginning of the summer - an one of them was "Limit MSE to 1 hour a day (or less)"....

    Yeah right! :rolleyes: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi there - thanks for posting (and subscribing :) ). Haven't quite got into my stride with getting back to matched betting but that is a plan for the next month or so. Have had a bit of a disaster with the one I did do - should've been a straight forward 25% reload from canb*t but first I mucked up the qualifier so I lost £10 on that - and now a week later they still haven't credited the freebie!:mad: So will be chasing that today - have double checked the rules and am sure I have qualified correctly. But it is annoying as it is tying up over £200 and I need that to go on with others.

Are you matched betting as well?

Way above my head, but OH has had a go with limited success. I am encouraging him to have another go. I find it frustrating as it seems to be a way of making money and he is dragging his feet! I can understand as he is worried he will lose it all. He spends forever looking for bets and usually ends up not doing anything, have you got any tips on how to trawl quickly?

OK - new month tomorrow - holidays over - am going to get back to daily plans and routines and try to crack this debt within this academic year (being in education my year runs September to August!). My snowball says end of next year (December) so am going to try to bring that forward to September. Will be tough but might just be doable.

Will be seeking to make £15 a day extra in September - £450 - through:
    • Dog training: £300
    • Matched betting: £100
    • Other: £50
Today's list is long but straightforward:
    • [STRIKE]Empty/fill dishwasher[/STRIKE] DONE - at least first load - might be another later!
    • Laundry
    • Clean kitchen
    • Hoover and tidy lounge
    • Hoover and tidy hall
    • Mow lawn (if not too wet)
    • Walk and training with dogs
    • Ring canb*t
    • Start sportingb*t
    • Check quidco offers
    • Make debt payment
    • Update calendar for next few weeks
    • Sort out stuff for work tomorrow
    • Dog training plans
    • Review and update long term goals and action plans
Phew! Have already started on the housework (eek - did I really say the H word?!). Chat later.

The tips on here can be helpful but otherwise there is no real short cut. I suppose you get used to the likely places - so I tend to look at the win/half time/over-under markets when I want low odds and the correct score/half time-full time/half time score markets for higher odds. Also I always open two browser windows and arrange them side by side with the same market open at each bookie so I can see them quickly. But after that it is just a case of trawling till you find one you are happy with. And I must admit these days I am happier with poorer matches than I once would've been. If it is good enough then I go with it - I don't spend hours looking for arbs or trying to get an extra few pence. If it comes in with a reasonable profit then it is good enough. There are too many other things to do to spend hours searching for matched bets!

:o I never thought of that!

Yep, I do that too - except with my current euro situation, I have to have them one on top of the other, the page squishes really badly if side by side, and its unreadable.

Yes, me too, tho I'm very happy if I find a good match. My current qualifier is only 93.56% return, and we're supposed to go for minimum 95% - I'd get told off over there if I admitted it. But I want a cup of tea before I go out! Whats a girl to do? :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm with you! "supposed" is based on what is possible on average to achieve - and I used to religiously do it. But then I realised I was spending an extra hour for an additional 1 or 2% return and decided my time was worth more than that.
I can normally find a "good enough" bet within 5 mins. If I lose a few pence along the way so be it. After all - it is not money actually lost - it is just less money won. And I can spend that extra time making money other ways.
