    Thanks Shaz

Have "pinched" the one with four lots of flowers/buds, and am keeping a close eye on the next one along, which isn't too far behind.

The others are still quite short, but might put on a spurt if we ever get a sunny spell longer than an afternoon, and the scaffolders depart from my balcony.

Might be harvesting my first (ever) tomatoes this summer, then...

Yay ! Finally finished the garden :j (finished meaning having moved here last October and getting it the way we want it). DH has today put up the fencing around the raised beds to keep the dog off (just got to paint it but the kids will be doing that !)

It feels really good to know that we've worked our socks off the last few months and now all the hard work has been done, we can now start to enjoy the garden and all the produce :D .

Will take some piccies tomorrow and pop them on here ......... absolutely cream crackered tonight so just chilling with a nice glass of red (would go and sit in the garden but can't move for stiffness :rotfl: :o ).

Hope everyone has had a good weekend

When we viewed our house, we looked out of our back window and could see the neighbours garden. They have a little fence that runs across the back of the garden which shield the shed and greenhouse.
I could tell instantly that they had kids cause the fence was painted in bright colours with handprints. I love it and it's fab! (and needless to say we bought the house!)

It's a mystery. I went out to my garden this morning and the pumpkin I was growing in a growbag has totally disappeared. There is no sign of it ever being there, the compost isn't disturbed and there are no bits of leaves or stalk to be seen. It's like it has vanished into thin air.

I thought I was going mad and maybe had put it somewhere else but the label in the grow bag is still there. My pepper plant growing next to it is still there and doesn't have so much as a nibble on it:confused:

Come on, own up, who's pinched my pumpkin?
